My husband has just been diagnosed with cancer so we are going to be at the hospital a lot I am going to teach myself embroidery (with UA-cam videos) so I can take it with me while he has treatment and hopefully take my mind off what my husband is going through. Thank you for the video very helpful
You’re welcome, I’m so happy to hear it was helpful! I hope it provides you some peace and joy during a difficult time, sending positive energy your way ❤️
I have a question: does your arm ever get sore from doing so much embroidery, and if so, how do you go about preventing that? My arms are prone to getting sore from all the drawing and seeing I do, so if you have any ideas or tips, that would be great :)
This is amazing, thank you. I have been really struggling with getting patterns onto fabric (holding the pattern and fabric up against a window and trying to trace it whilst losing my will to create) and i had no idea that there were things you could get to help transfer it more accurately. I'm now off for a deep dive into items available - thank you 💗
So glad you found it helpful! I have a post on my website with some of the different methods and products here if you’d like to read more about them ☺️ crewelghoul.com/blog/transfer-embroidery-patterns-to-fabric/
Thank you for the tips! Needle size is something you don't hear a lot about. Very helpful!!
You’re welcome! ☺️

Hang in there sister! ❤

So glad you found it helpful!! ☺️
I just chose the DMC size 1 for my first embroidery needle (because its big! It'll be easy to hold!) and I feel attacked. 😥
That’s ok! You can use large needles when you use most or all of the strands. ☺️

Not really! I think I have gotten used to stitching for awhile but also breaks are a must.
