There is no issue in switching auto to manual or manual to auto. You won’t feel any jerk. Note when u shift from Auto to manual there will be one down shift but when u shift from manual to auto there won’t be any change.
Not sure how your gear box got affected coz this is how the AMT gear box work and company doesn’t stops to do it as it’s a mechanism provided by the company.
@@ManwithHarley Maruti AMT (AGS) is known to create issues after 40-50k kms. I drive in Delhi and then shifted to Bangalore. Both cities have crawling traffic.

City mai 12 to 13 highway main 16 - 17. Depend karta hai apka need and budget kya hai.
Did this for 2-3 years in my Maruti Baleno Zeta and I had to spend 46k to repair the AMT mechanism
