I got my PPR request on 10 August 2022. On 15 August I raised webform to inform IRCC about my defer LOA. On 18th August 2022, they put my file in security. Since 18th August 2022, I am waiting for new visa. Although, I have already received my stamped passport on 20 August 2022 via courier. Tell me what should I do?

If your visa hasn't expired at the time you land in Canada then you do not need to provide any additional details to the VO. For example: your program is of 2 years and you applied for Jan 2022. Later you deferred to September and received your ppr on the January filing. Now as your study Visa will be valid till March 2024, you can land in August 2022 and get your study permit normally. Later you can apply for visa extension and everything would be fine. It's quite an easy process, so do not get confused. But if at the time of landing if you have less than 6 months left on your visa, then it can cause some issues. On this, as suggested by Mr Gopal please do notify your visa officer accordingly.
Hi Umang, My case is same as you referred in your example. I got my PPR on the basis of Jan Intake and currently my Passport is under stamping process. I deferred to Sept Intake and during the deferment process i got my Ppr. So now should i raise any webform explaining my case to IRCC or apply for visa extension later on. If i do not provide any information regarding deferment now, will there be any problem when i land Canada in August.
@@madhavsharma2060 Nope, nothing will happen and there is absolutely no need to update IRCC about this either. At PoE just make sure you have your new LoA and CAQ ( if going to Quebec). The officer will probably ask a few question around this. Answer the questions honestly and later on apply for extension.

@@luckyRchouhan5 Hi, if your passport is already stamped then there is no need of updating IRCC . After landing at Canada airport just make sure to clarify your situation to the Visa officer dealing with your student permit. You can extend your visa later on. Hope this helps!

I Have been admitted to Master of Management Program at University of Calgary for fall 2022 for which the course duration is 1 year, but due to not receiving my study visa on time I had to defer to next available intake for the course which was Fall 2023 and got my deferral on September 12, 2022 from my university and had raised a webform to inform IRCC informing it on the same day. And on September 15, 2022 I received my Passport Printing Request and got my passport stamped but in the visa, the validity is according to my old intake that is from 15/09/2022 to 30/09/2023 whereas my deferred intake of fall 2023 will start from September 2023 . Like not for your visa, you’ll get your study permit according to your new LOA, just explain all the things to visa officer, if everything is reasonable, he will just give it you.

Yes, you can use same visa, after notifying IRCC. But still check with few more people, as maybe they could have changed the process, but from what I know they have not.

Brother, Recently I got my study permit for the September 2022 intake; in the meantime, I deferred my semester to January 2023 from September 2022. No you'll get a Study permit as per your program duration at Canada airport, nobody will check your stamped passport after this time, all will check your study permit.

Raise a webform, and tell IRCC regarding this also upload your new LOA, you can also call high commission of India easily, check my video calling high commission of India.
@Modern Human my loa is under process and will receive it soon, I have asked around on twitter that if you visa is stamped and you update the new LOA then you will get a reply from ircc that they cannot update loa as the file is no longer in process!? There are a lot of college groups present at telegram, Facebook. Just type Conestoga in telegram, who'll find people, even who can find students who belong to the same program in which you are enrolled through this, type the name of program with college name at telegram platform search.

I was supposed to join my course during Jan 2022 intake but like many other students my visa got delayed and I received it in Feb 2022. My program is for two years so my Visa is valid till the year 2024. Due to delay in visa I had deferred my course to Jan 2023 intake. Could you please guide me with all the additional documentation I will require now. I understand that the medical test has validity of one year only and I will have to get it done again. Can you please tell me where to upload my new medical certificate? Will my GC Key profile be active even after one year or will it get deactivated? I have received a revised LOA from my university and my seat has been confirmed, do I need to upload my new LOA somewhere on the portal ? Please help!
Don’t worry, upload new LOA, through webform. Medical yes 1 year, just get it done, and upload, with LOA plus carry Just carry medical new, LOA, proof why deferred, try to carry emails, webform(screenshots). Apart from this normal documents. Thank you for the feedback. 🙏🏻

It will not create any impact on your visa, don't worry, just update IRCC through webform, that you have deferred, due to reasons (explain) with attached proof.

Ask college through mail, sometimes they don't deferral letters, they say use the earlier one and just explain to the visa officer if he asks, that we have deferred.

I Have been admitted to Master of Management Program at University of Calgary for fall 2022 for which the course duration is 1 year, but due to not receiving my study visa on time I had to defer to next available intake for the course which was Fall 2023 and got my deferral on September 12, 2022 from my university and had raised a webform to inform IRCC informing it on the same day.
And on September 15, 2022 I received my Passport Printing Request and got my passport stamped but in the visa, the validity is according to my old intake that is from 15/09/2022 to 30/09/2023 whereas my deferred intake of fall 2023 will start from September 2023 .
Can you please tell how i can solve this ?

Like not for your visa, you’ll get your study permit according to your new LOA, just explain all the things to visa officer, if everything is reasonable, he will just give it you.

Yes, you can use same visa, after notifying IRCC. But still check with few more people, as maybe they could have changed the process, but from what I know they have not.

Raise a webform, and tell IRCC regarding this also upload your new LOA, you can also call high commission of India easily, check my video calling high commission of India.

It will not create any impact on your visa, don't worry, just update IRCC through webform, that you have deferred, due to reasons (explain) with attached proof.

Sir I have received my PPR on 23 November 2021 for Jan intake 2022 Can I defer it to May intake 2022 and then in May can I defer it to September intake? I understand your point the if we are getting LOA for more than 150 days then we need to raise an webform and provide new LOA. Is it secure to defer it 2nd time from May 2022 to September 2022 ?

I got ppr for sep 2024 intake, but I have received deferred letter of may 2024 intake (reverse case) just after receiving ppr. Can i enter canada with may LOA or i will be not allowed to enter canada before sep intake.

Ask college through mail, sometimes they don't deferral letters, they say use the earlier one and just explain to the visa officer if he asks, that we have deferred.
