- 2012年，日本知名雜誌主編岩佐十良向銀行借了整整4億日元，買下了南魚沼市一棟150年前的破舊民宅，自己設計和改造。2014年，酒店“里山十帖”開業，屋裡都是頂尖設計師家具，屋外是全日本排行第一的溫泉。盡管他至今還沒還清債務，但他做的一切徹底改變了封閉鄉村的命運。
Toru Iwasa, the editor-in-chief of a renown Japanese magazine, got a loan of 4,000 million yen from bank in 2012 to buy a 150-year-old dilapidated house in Minamiuonuma city. He did the design himself and renovated the house into the hotel Satoyama Jujo which opened in 2014. It houses top designer furniture and has the best onsen in Japan. Although he’s now still in debt, what he do has totally changed the destiny of the closed village.

『里山十帖』じゃん。車で20分で行けるわ。南魚沼の大沢山温泉は温泉宿が３～４軒ある。
ここは値段が高いから、あの景色を眺める露天風呂付で古民家の温泉宿なら、『大沢館』の方が安い。北野武の映画『HANABI』でも撮影されたし、いい雰囲気だよ。『高七城』もお奨め。泉質がいい。
日本好的溫泉飯店很多，這只是其中一家吧！有的不對外人開放只接待日本人
特色菜的餐廳也是，更多是要用日文提早幾天預約的，至少要能溝通（通常座位很少，都保留給常客）。

It is 570 Euro for one night in a 2 person family room, what ever that is. Only Breakfast included. But I am not that tempted. Same old well know western furnitures. A little bit Scandinavian designers, a bit of Eames and the butterfly lounge chairs.... Looks nearly the same at home. As someone from Europe I would like to sleep in/on a real futon on Tatami flooring or experience a bit more of modern (or ancient) Japanese design. Guess it is designed for mainly Japanese guests.

何谓“绝境”温泉？不明白标题。
室内灯光柔和蛮舒服的感觉。 若谈及其温泉质地，可能不属于“一条”的节目主题。 若论景色，这个山林景色有其风格，远远算不上绝“景”。
热海 有几家温泉边泡边看着太平洋海景，水平线上什么都不会有，小岛等都没有，很长很长的水平线，真乃绝“景”！
这里的绝境应该是人烟罕至的地方，一个很古典的词汇。不是我第一反应的走投无路，也不是你认为的绝佳环境。

同感，舊的好看太多了！但修護原本茅草屋頂需要的傳統技藝已很少人會做，估計費用太大，需忍痛割捨
