Michigan fan here (biased): I am noticing that almost all of the arguments for Bama are historic. Very little focusing on this season. At some point the history will end. Seems like this would be the year with Bama not looking as dominate and Michigan playing consistently good ball. That is why the computers and Vegas give it to Mich. because the game is played in the present starting 0-0. Harbaugh has every ability to win a post season game. The past doesn't guarantee the future.
Bs. Alabama had to face Texas and struggled vs USF. What data or model predicts Michigan to have the same success if they had Alabama’s schedule.
My guess is they would performed about the same. That's why the score is predicted to be close on NY day. This is also an SEC bias take. You're automatically assuming SEC team's have it hardest, but this year OSU has the best strength of sched.@@kendallhurley8596

Alabama has every advantage in this game at every single position. Michigan trying to out big boy Bama in the trenches will be a catastrophe. Bama will live in the UM backfield. There is zero chance Michigan can block Bama. Zero. Michigan will win a few plays with there Dline but that’s neutralized by Milroe being the most explosive player on the field. Caleb Downs will shutdown Loveland. UM WRs is a joke vs Arnold and Kool Aid. If Bama makes mistakes it will be a close win for Bama. If Bama plays mistake free, it’s a laughable blowout.
Bama isn’t the old Bama it used to be. Michigan can easily win this game. Everyone is so focused on past teams of different years but it comes down to matchups. Auburn as a second rate team almost won against Bama. Texas beat Bama. Who cares? It’s about the teams NOW.

Unless I am overlooking something This appears to be a bad match up for Michigan because they like to oppose there will to win games and against Alabama that not going to happen.. Giving 30 Days for Saban to Prepare is normally a death sentence for who they are playing. he is 6 in 1 in Semi-Final Games only loss was 1st season of CFP against Ohio State.
Then why is Bama so concerned about their matchups with Michigan. Saban is so scared he had to hire a Michigan higan coach.

Are they great against the run? What did Auburn do that was so effective against Alabama? Has the tide had issues with run defense all year or was that an anomaly? I haven't kept up too much other than the Iron Bowl with Alabama this year so I'm hoping someone will explain to me.

If you don’t watch that rivalry every year, you wouldn’t understand it. It is the states Super Bowl. They all play like first round picks in that game. If Auburn list every game of the season and derailed Bama, they would call it a success. Auburn also hired the only coach that consistently beats Saban. The literal only one.
