Great subject. Thank you. I was very metabolically sick a couple of years ago. Switched to Keto and fasting and my weight went from 237 pounds to 190 pounds in 4 months. I feel so much better now even though I don’t do a strict keto and fasting any more. I still try to do a low-carb diet though.

Didn't expect this topic here. But all I can say is, the keto diet have given me amazing results! (not talking about weight loss)
My mental clarity is higher. My energy levels are stable throughout the day. And my joint issues disappeared

Same. Used to be vegetarian and felt sick all the time. Switched to low carb, high fat with lots of meat. Changed my life to the better. No more brain fog. And finally I am happy and saturated after a meal for a long time. I used to be hungry all the time when I was vegetarian. Wish more people would give meat a chance. But so many (like myself once) seem to be brainwashed into thinking vegan/vegetarian is the way to go. Thanks for posting about your experience.

@dailytekk - Thanks for sharing your journey. Do you have any vitals that may have been positively or negatively impacted? I know my wife is vegan because she has had very high cholesterol since childhood and that is how she manages it. I'd be interested, if it isn't too personal, what vitals have changed given you were vegetarian before. Beyond the "more energy" are you seeing measurable positive (or negative) vitals changes? Thanks!

Nice, dude! Thanks for making this video. I've been on keto and intermittent fasting for a while and have felt great ever since. However, I stayed vegetarian. Definitely stay away from the processed fake stuff, but for me, I've been able to get the good fats, protein and other nutrients without switching back to meat. No judgement though. I did considered switching back to meat. But this seems to be working well for me, so if it ain't broke... :)

“Waaaa! You made a post that wasn’t about tech or productivity. Now I’m gonna leave….. Oh, yeah. You disgust me.” This kind of thinking is 100% what is wrong with the world. We can bob downstream, fat dumb and happy, for years, but touch on one thing they disagree with and they have to wig out….. It’s in the title folks. If you’re vegetarian and everyone else deserves to die, just skip this one. You act like this is the new focus of the channel.

Every diet has people that say they get the same benefits as you.
    And they may really do.
What kind of vegetarian were you Chris? Ovo Lacto, pescatarian etc?
You may want to look at the non biased science.
Let us know how you’re doing in another 6-12 months
    There’s vegetarian/vegan food and there’s vegetarian/vegan junk food.
It sounds like you were vegetarian for health reasons not for the animals as are vegans.

My wife and I were vegan for 12 years before moving to a smaller town that made it more difficult to follow that diet. We added fish and eggs but have been considering going back to omnivore diet. Did you have any initial “sickness” from adding animal protein to your diet? Did it take a few days for your body to adjust?

Can I be honest? Unlike some of the people who unsubscribed, I’m not going to do that. I also recognise that sometimes it’s nice to explore other areas. This channel has leaned heavily into productivity for example. That being said I really didn’t like this video. Here’s why…
People have lots of reasons why they choose their diet. What qualifications do you have that have enabled you to determine that your productivity boost has been specifically attributed to your diet for example? Weight loss can be achieved via many diets and energy levels can be boosted through simply losing excess body fat and regular exercise. You have clearly put focus on your diet and wellbeing which I applaud. And I hope you’re feeling healthier. But to categorically assert that it was due to going ‘keto’ may be inaccurate.
I wouldn’t say stay in your lane. But this is also too far outside of your niche, it clearly made some commenters uncomfortable (I wouldn’t go that far personally) and I wouldn’t want to remain subscribed if more focus is placed on this topic. If I want information about keto or any diet, I’ll look specifically for that. Not from a tech channel.
Perhaps consider a second channel so people can decide if they want to see content from you that is more outside of your niche?

You just need a healthy and varied diet, not too much sugar( including carbs), enough (light) exercise.
All these special diets, including Keto are BS in my view. But hey, to each their own

    • @gerawan
      @gerawan 3 місяці тому +1

That is not true. A mere "healthy" varied diet does not have the benefits he describes in the video. It's only on keto that has significant brain, emotional, and neurological benefits. It's only on keto that weight is lost effortlessly. It's only keto that can CURE type 2 diabetes.
Don't call it BS until you've tried it yourself. But, beware, as he indicates in the video, you might end up with too much energy, feeling far younger than you are, being happier, smarter, etc.
