IMO HAs moving fire slower than stationary HAs. Not something I have tested, but just something I noticed while playing the game. Also, would like to see the test of 12 shields in line formation, not stacked on top of each other. I think that the game has a "break" animation that causes the next unit not to take damage in the spot after something has died. Or maybe the next volley of arrows is still hitting the already broken shields. If you look, the 1 HA took longer to die then you would expect after the last shield.
Good video, but I have other opinion. Knights who are not protected by shields and ha are very vulnerable to catapults, ballistas and enemy ha. Also, although you win gold and honor, you lose a lot of people. 177 vs 50. In this way, you give the opponent an advantage in pace. The difference in gold is not too big, so the enemy can just use more shooters. It will be enough for him to prevent you from rebuilding an army of ha + shields, and this is not so difficult!
But you can imagine if during the battle I was also rebuilding army. And you can imagine if the fight was between 100 knights, the result would be 67 surviving vs a complete rout. Look at this fight @ 30:00 ua-cam.com/video/F1j0gyvTRdU/v-deo.html . It is 120 knights vs 120 knights, the result was 80 knights surviving vs a complete rout, and although I lost the HA army, I was rebuilding it and it led to an advantage. It's usually a 3 to 1 kill to death in favor of this strategy, so you can imagine that the more knights involved the more devastating it is for the losing side. In most cases the person with the most knights on the field will win. And even if the gold difference can be closed, the honor difference is not so easy to make up There's also something I call a kind of "tipping point" for the amount of knights on the field. If your opponent ever gets roughly 50 knights more than you on the field, it is almost hopeless. If they have 80 more knights then they can just send them and go to sleep and they will probably win
@@4HiSeth In that battle Fighter's knights dont allow me to push you after your loosing ha! And before, I simply did not know about MAX HA tactics. If you make 250-300 horse archers and you will retreat behind traps, then the advantage of 50 and more knights is not terrible!

@@4HiSeth I tend to agree with SD on this, sometimes remaking army (time for peasant spawn) is more pressing of an issue then gold or honor.
