I love the way Jeffery let the Trombone speak. Thank you to everyone in the band for being so open and allowing the creativity flow through each of you. A true joy watching you all honour the beauty of this song.
Suggestion: You let the viewers pick one or more of the pieces for the session. Interaction would grow which may would make the visibilty grow. Love you guys!
Wow these shows just keep getting better! Jefferey Miller!!! What talent! Fantastic feel on the trombone and his voice is sublime. Thank you, you’re exceptionally talented musicians🙏
Another Cohen-hosted delight. This is Jazz “for the people…”. Nothing to be decoded here, skill, craft, invention, all in the basic not-extended harmony of the original. I’d feel so honored to sha re a stage with any of these cats. Keep ‘em coming, Mr. C and Co.
@@JefferyMillerMusic great playing! Just got back into the trombone after playing guitar and piano for years and the approach just has to be different. There’s a lot that we can’t do on the trombone, but there’s also a lot that nobody else can do as well
@@JefferyMillerMusicSay Jeff, what's up man.Fine trombone work, also very fluent vocals man!!! So, where you from, where you living now,? what's the best place to check your sounds out ? Musicianship is sensational, but also Hats off to whomever does the sound..listening on my home studio monitors instead of my usual crappy laptop...sounds amazing!!!!
I like how Jeffery made a quick call at 3:45 to ask the drummer to sit out for sec. Gives a nice energy reset to the start of his solo, and I like how he made the call right before his solo, when he knew Kyle would be looking at him.
Best plunger work since Al Grey. Jeffey you are the full package. And what a perfect combo. Ya'll ain't just jamming, you're in touch and connected. Truly a master work going on here. Love how the drummer started without sticks. So creative. Piano and bass are totally solid. If I ever see you cats in the Big Easy I'm grabbing my bone and sliding in.
My first exposure to this song was Tommy Dorsey's version and I immediately liked it. I think this laid back version is exactly the way it should be. You really nailed the optimistic never-care attitude of it! Thanks!!
Old school... in the best possible way. Amazing plunger work. EC and the whole group just bring it in every video. I really thought that this style of jazz was lost on the younger generations... but you guys are keeping it authentic and alive. Thank you!

In remembrance of " Tricky Sam" Nanton; Jeff's solos. Love the old Getzson Miller plays. Cherish my restored Model 1 Bach t-bone (made 1935), but that model of Getson was also a great horn.
man your growls are otherworldly. sometimes I get really sad about being a musician but then I remember people like you guys exist. amazing man.
Don't be sad about being a musician man :D
Otherworldly growls ;-)
Thank you Sean! "Otherworldly Growls" sounds like a cool name for a tour. :)
💯!!!

Wow I was not expecting that Jeffery would sing too! What a voice - a man of many talents.
Thank you Graham!

Perfection. Everyone here shines brilliantly. Also one of my favorite bass players today.
This is one of my favorite songs because everyone interprets it just a bit differently. OUTSTANDING!
Theres something so amazing about just bass and lead instrument/vocals together, it feels so intimate and soulful
Absolutely wonderful performance from all musicians, especially Jefferey! Wonderful plunger work and the vocals!
Thank you!
Im addicted to this trombone playing
Thank you!
Dang he’s got a BAC model trombone, he rocks it, and then he has a killer voice. Sold.
Thank you Kevin!
This Russel Hall guy is an absolute machine
I love that bass tone. Gut strings and the hook
That speed with one finger is absolutely nuts
This song can not be played and sung better than this!!!! Marvelous!

Very original sound
Bro when I heard words, I was like “yo who is singing” and then omg it’s this trombone guy! What a voice! What a horn sound!

Awesome performance of a great tune. Thanks Jeffery for your great plunger work and singing.

Great playing guys! Love the plunger work and vocals from Jeffery too!
Thank you so much!
I physically recoiled when Miller started singing. Wow.
How did you do sound this good in somebody's living room? Amazing!
That Piano came in so sweetly. WOW! That sound overall good.

Simply fantastic. Every musician was brilliant !
One of the best trombone solos I’ve ever heard
Wowderful!!! Bravooo I'love your voice AND you instrument.
This remids me of the magnificent sound of Duke Ellington's small groups. It's unbelievable! 🎶
Standout performance all. Amazing Jeffery Miller.
Thank you!
Brilliant!!!! One of the best rendition of this song I have ever heard...
I want to take an output from the mixing desk and put it straight into my arm through a cannula. It's like eating cherries with your ears. 🌈❤👏
GOAT rendition ever! Incredible.
This is the cream right at the top of the coffee 😊
music is ALL about feel
