Stories, Lords of Xulima, Omensight, Eschalon, Vaporum are all great games, even Zenith. Recommend.
Also Quest Hunter, Vaporum (and the sequel/prequel), Seven: Days long gone is also on PS5 maybe PS4 too.

Apotheon is fantastic
Seven: Enhanced Edition with all the DLC is routinely on sale on PS store for $7 or so. I’ve heard both good and bad things about it (bad - the camera and movement)

Loved the art style but just couldn’t get into it. Of course I didn’t play long so might get better but it didn’t get better so I didn’t play long
Well I happen to be playing IWD2 at this moment with a party of 5. Last time I played was 20 years ago.
And hey no one's gonna forget NWN okay? How can one possibly forget a game like that?
I've played 8 of these. I never bought Exanima because it has been in early access for almost 9 years making me wonder if it will ever leave early access.
naaaah don't think so, but you still can get many hours of absolutely hilarious moments.
it's more of a "see what we can do", they were also building a much bigger rpg based on the exanima engine.

well no one will be able to answer that, you must find out. for example, the eschalon trilogy are great rpg's but i can totally see someone watching me playing them and asking "what is this s...?"

Vaporum and Vaporum Lockdown are i think amazing. Xulima is great if u like this isometric kinda games, and turn based combat as seen in video.
Stories is like a fairytale, overall great game. Omensight ditto.
Eschalon 1-3 are awesome.
And i dont know maybe Zenith is ok ish even good.
Icewind dale, Neverwinter nights are from D&D world so, well if u like/love that sorta games, u cant go wrong with those.
Icewind Dale 2 and Neverwinter Nights are classic D&D based games so if you like this system you'd probably like them though only the latter got a modern remaster.
Apotheon is a pretty good metroidvania game.
Omensight, Seven: EE, Xanadu: Next and Maquerada are also pretty good.

doesn’t mean RPGs don’t have hack n slash gameplay, nor does it mean souls like aren’t RPGs.
Geez yall. The genres are so meshed these days, it’s like splitting hairs.
If you're adjusting stats like strength, intelligence and wisdom and other skills, it qualifies as an RPG. Including Hack and slash games like Dark Souls.
