How the heck did I get that wrong? I even reviewed it…in 2023. Pinning your comment so everyone can see. Thank you. Still a great set! If I had to remove it from the list I would replace it with The Animated Series Gotham City set
Thank you, I thought so too. I’m currently mulling over my script for sets that let me down this year, and I’m just not sure if I want to end the year on a negative note 😂
Great list of sets! Since Hogwarts Grounds was a 2023 set, I’d switch it out for the new UCS Burrow. Lots of fun technique, heavy detail, and great fig selection 🖤
Yes! I pinned the first one to point it out…the shame will follow me into 2025 😂 I have no idea how I got it so wrong considering I reviewed it last year
@@DarkAnimalStudios I'll review it for you. The build itself is flawless, as beautiful as can be, great price per piece ratio, over two feet tall, the rocket can detach from the tower and can even come apart like the Saturn V (different ways though, cause it's not the same rocket). There is only one downside, the building experience. The rocket was very fun to build, but it's at the very end and it's only 1/8 of the process, same can be said for the launch pad, only it's not as fun and it takes a bit longer (and at the beginning), but the tower is VERY tedious to build, and this is coming from a technic enjoyer. It does have some pretty interesting techniques to stabilize it, but that doesn't make up for repeating the same small build 10 (yes, 10) in a row, with very few other things in between. Like I said, the build itself is flawless IMO, but you need the mental capacity to build the tower in order to enjoy it fully (worth it though)
@@DarkAnimalStudiosthe Ninjargo Shrine looks like a big Wolf 🐺 or even a Werewolf. With a little bit of MOC’ng you could build a Super Fig but like the big figs but larger . As soon as I see it I thought massive wolf not Dragon 🤷♂️ looks really good
Interesting. There were some bad licensed sets for sure, but I found it great overall. I especially love that we got some space sets across a variety of themes. Which ones stood out to you as downright terrible?
@@DarkAnimalStudios massive let down on the X mansion and over priced Marvel sets. Barad Dur was covered in stickers. No castle or pirate sets. The Mona Lisa is embarrassing. Thankfully we got D&D. Next year should be much better with a great modular, Blacktron Renegade, Simpsons, and some great Bricklink sets coming out.
I believe the Hogwarts castle (76419) was released in 2023. My vote for a potential replacement would be the new Endurance ship.

Great list! A lot of great sets this year.

Awesome video bro! Good job!
Thank you…except for the 2023 set I included 😂
This is awesome! Thank you for delivering on an OG fan request…Great to see you on cam too!
Yeah man got it in before getting sick 😂 Question is do I end the year off with most disappointing sets of 2024?
You already know my answer! Haha. Hope you get well soon.
My favourites were the Milky Way and Batman Gotham city 😊
I was waaaay too intimidated by the milky way! It looks amazing, how was the building?
@@DarkAnimalStudiosi really enjoyed it, recommend it 😊
It was a great year for Lego
I agree! Apart from a worrying upwards trend of overpriced sets it was great

Thank you! The only reason the burrow did not make the cut was because I did not build it, but I do love the way it looks 🙂
This was a pretty good year for Lego
What will Lego create in 2025? (DnD wise)
I really hope we get modular campaign expansions, but smaller sets at a lower price

No Artemis rocket?
I didn’t build that one! 😂

That ninjargo one has almost an entire super fig stone Wolf 🐺 in it and you missed it .
Wait you’re gonna have to explain that to me 😂

D&D for me. But overall the sets this year haven’t been the best.

Controversial, but I wasn’t keen on that Chewie set.
That thing was pure horror

Yeah I’m not a fan of stickers, especially the inconsistency of their inclusion between themes.
