For Pete's Sake, the idol has to be versatile, and Christian singers have never made it. Mandesa has had a good career since Idol, but never made it to top 12. I love Megan and will continue voting for her, but you have to be realistic.

Megan, your story is literally what happened to me at 7 years old. I, too, had such low self-esteem. Growing up, I let that stop me from pursuing my dreams as a singer and dancer. When you shared your story and sang, I was sobbing because you have an amazing gift that needs to be shared with the world. I am 50 yrs old, and when I saw you, I saw me standing on that stage, giving ALL Glory and Honor to God!!

There was definitely great talent on this years show. I absolutely loved Hannah. Obviously an impressive physical athlete. Yet as Luke put it, a “sneaky voice”. Loved everything about her and wished she had gone further.
In the end, in my opinion, Megan and We’ Ani were with out a doubt the best of the series.
I ended up voting for Megan for these reasons. First all her incredible distinctive voice, let alone her incredible range. If I turned on my radio and heard her singing, I would know immediately who’s singing. An incredible career is on the horizon for you as well as the amazing We’ Ani.

She might not have won, came in second to my youngster homeboy, but she will overall be the most successful contestant thereafter and next rising female country music superstar ❤ She is the best overall country artist contestant in AI history and has a potential greater than the current #1 female country singer and we all know who I am talking about. Why, Carrie U’s voice is not as distinct and/or unique as Danielle’s voice. In other words, though Carrie has a great voice it is not instantly recognizable as much as Danielle’s voice which is also great!❤
