the problem with the rules of a lot of the games in the Australian version of Gladiators is that it made the games not nearly as exciting to watch. Whiplash was the worst, as the original point of the game was to "own the bone" or rip it out of the Gladiator's grasp, or secondarily pull the gladiator out of the whiplash ring. In this Australian version its just simply pull the gladiator out with brute pulling force, change of direction to a push (even by pushing on the bone) was not allowed, and you are not even allowed to lean to the ground to pull the gladiator out, making the game so boring to watch. Meanwile in the United States, Whiplash was a real dogfight to get tat bone out of the gladiators grasp.
@@coordinator3039 Hard is not what i am complaining about. a game can be hard and still be action packed. The way they play it in Australia is hard and boring. The version in the US was hard and action packed. the gladiators in the US really gave the contenders a beating in this game, since there was plenty of hard yanking and twisting of that dog bone. in Australia, just get Thunder to stand in the middle and do nothing for 30 seconds while the contender barely moves him an inch.
It would be amazing that there was always original Gladiators names...
hahaha "too much weights. not enough speedwork".
love that movie.

What happened to the Sumo Ball?
Amazon uploaded a video of herself getting red carded after a disqualification against Georgie.
It's unfortunate, I wanted to see that event in this episode.
