Another one is sodium bicarb and super glue mixed and applied.

Lumiweld needs to be hot, but nowhere near red. A better job than filler.

ive a 650 triumph with a lucas magneto one day fires on two cyliders next day one

sounds as though mag might be going down, although check for faulty plugs, caps, leads and points first, see if the spark is strong on both spark plugs although under compression the spark acts differently, also has the timing slipped!!!
