So very very late to the party but just got my Gloomhaven 2nd printing and the insert but things have changed. I dont have the room in the box to put the tiles in like you did but there was enough room on top of everything instead. Small change but a change. Awesome setup and works beautifully!!
Just finished all...hell that took me long. 4h with waiting for the dry, but it‘s so much worth it, now we can start right away and don‘t have to sort everything in the right order and so on. I highly recommend this!!
Since your post we have updated our assembly guide page on our site, and using this approach building the inserts is far easier and quicker. A four sheet insert can be assembled in just 20 minutes :)
There are 3 different editions of Gloomhaven, I own the first german one. Does the insert fit to every edition? I don`t know if the size of the Box changed with the different editions. BTW: I really love your inserts. Almost every one improves the games a lot! I own only one game (too many bones) which needs no insert, because everything is stored well in the game itself. Every other game is getting so much better with inserts, you save so much time when playing what makes it much more fun!
Glad to hear that you like our inserts :) Yes, our FS-GLO insert fits all the current versions of the game, so you shouldn't have any problems using it with your copy.
I know a bit late .. but still .. owning Gloomhaven 2nd edition and also this nice insert too. I started putting all the cards into the protective sleeves. However now there seems to be not enough place for all the small cards
Glad to see that you are enjoying the insert! The design does allow for sleeved cards, though with the player cards stored in the character tuck boxes. If you still have problems getting things to fit please write to us at store@foldedspace.net with details and we will be happy to help.
Is this organizer also compatible with premium sleeves (100 microns)? I could only find the info that it does support sleeves, but the premium ones are much thicker than the standard sleeves.
Thank you for purchasing our insert, we hope you enjoy using it in your game :) You won't need much for assembly, a 10g tube would be enough, though such small bottles are hard to find. Please check our assembly guide page on our site before starting as this will make things very simple.
A very handy guide. I had a brief look on your website but couldn't see the new guidance you referenced in some of the comments here about token placement in new editions. Are you able to advise on the best layout/distribution for monsters in the newer editions?
Hi! Sorry, I'm not sure which differences you refer too. All the monster standees are the same in the various editions. The main difference between the editions was the addition of the dials and the change in the plastic of the stands. Which comments do you mean?
@@FoldedSpace This comment from your team regarding 4th edition onwards: "Yes, the insert works well with the 4th print. The cardstock is very slightly thicker so some of the more numerous smaller monsters need to be stacked slightly differently. We will have pictures of this up on our site soon"
@@FreeFragUK Ah yes, well it turned out that this was not the case for all copies of the 4th edition, and it was a more an anomaly. So we didn't take such photos as it was just going to lead to confusion.
@@FoldedSpace I realise this might be an awkward request but if possible could you provide an image showing a break down of which monsters go where? I realise this may not be possible, I'm just struggling a bit as on my initial attempt I've found that the monsters place a lot of pressure on the inside of the monster trays.
Yes, we will definitely be producing an insert for Frosthaven :) FS-FROST will be released at the same time as the Kickstarter campaign for the game is fulfilled. And yes, we do ship to Canada. We also distribute our products to Canada via Universal, so you should be able to find them at many FLGSs.
The cards shown in the video are those form the regular game, and i don't think that the count has changed during the various editions released. In the video the large cards are shown sleeved, which makes them look more, this might be the difference to your own set.
We also use Fantasy Flight sleeves. The cards should fit fine when sleeved, i wonder if you have a different problem. Please contact me via our website and i will be happy to see what i can do to help
@@davidheukers Thanks for the reply David, it's greatly appreciated. It's disappointing the issue was never resolved but I think I'll chalk the organiser up as a loss and find something else. Keep well and stay safe. Thanks once again.

@@daneielctin14 yeah I’m still not convinced, there are 14 slots and 17 monsters. Where do the other 3 go? But anyway whatever it’s a decent organizer. Not a big deal.

Yes, the FS-GLO insert does work with the new edition. However the card is slightly thicker and the small and medium monsters need to be stacked slightly differently. We will be posting images of the next week to update the product page on our website

As a bit of feedback, despite what it is advertised the insert will not accommodate all the cards if they're all sleeved. This might be the case if you're using cheap penny sleeves but anything ranging from standard to premium grade sleeves won't fit with all cards sleeved. At least not the smaller cards. If I find a solution to this then I'll rescind this comment but at this point in time my comment holds true. For clarity my version is the latest printing.
Thank you for taking the time to give us this feedback. We used FFG, 100 micron, sleeves in the design process, and these fit fine. So you should be ok with the sleeves you have. One thing we have heard from time to time is problems people have if they try to add to the trays the cards from the characters. All the character specific cards need to stay in the tuck box for that character. IF you still have a problem please do write to us using the contact us page on our site and we will be happy to help.
@@FoldedSpace the sleeves I'm using are reported to be 90micron. I haven't sleeved any of the character tuck box cards as of yet. I was able to sleeve and house the full/standard size cards without issue, however, there simply isn't sufficient room for all the mini euro cards. I haven't even begun to sleeve the monster cards and I have two baggies of approximately 40 cards in each filled with cards that won't fit in the inserts. Each of the mini card inserts is packed to the point where if I add more cards I won't be able to remove them and the internal pressure would probably pop off the ends.
@@FreeFragUK Sorry for this trouble using the insert. Please can you write to us using the contact us page on the site with some pictures and i am sure we can resolve this. We have sold a lot of these inserts, and your setup sounds normal so there shouldn't be an issue getting it to work.
@@FoldedSpace will do. To be honest this is a common issue reported in relation to your insert based on comments from UA-cam videos, and boardgame forums, comparing the various Gloomhaven organisers on market.
The instruction manual is on two pages, front and back printed on a single sheet of paper. It has been like this for some time, and this is the approach for all our insert products. The first printing we made of the insert did have a four page, two sheet, manual, but we found a good way to fit this on to just a single sheet and it seemed logical to make this change. If you have any problems at all following the instructions or assembling the insert please do contact us using our website (www.foldedspace.net/contact/) and we will be happy to help.
That video guide was perfect! Thank you! It's always easier to watch how it fits then to figure out with the paper guide 😅
Very satisfying to watch it all go back in the box, nicely ordered and no space wasted! Would love to see one of these for Mythic Battles Pantheon.
