Carol Burnett's "Queen" was side-splitting laughs every time! I used to watch this show with my Grandparents. We would be gasping for breath by the time the skit ended. Watching Carol's Queen lose her cool was always hysterical! All these years later, they still make me laugh. Missing Tim and Harvey. 😔

The best skit I can remember is Tim Conway doing that elephant impression with his arm. But they all were great! Our society is really collapsing. You'll never see this kind of show again. They wouldn't know how!
The Carol Burnett Show was one of the funniest shows ever produced. They all proved it was possible to be hilarious and entertaining with just props, costumes, and almost profanity-free dialog.
I have recorded so many of these episodes I especially like when you can see them not be able to keep a straight face or keep it together during scene.I have watched them over and over about once a year.They were a great cast

I feel like Carol let the crown slide around while she berated the guard. Such an effective comedic move. Just a testament to how layered and specific her characters were. So good! 💗✨

I loved the Carol burnett show when I was little. Now I love watching the reruns again. Never gets old. They had brilliant writers and fantastic actors!!
This is what true entertainment was all about. They just don't make quality showes like this anymore. We watched her show every week without fail whenever we could. Wish todays young people could enjoy such quality these days. I have completely stopped watching television anymore.

As a born San Antonian I love this show.. I heard say in those days my family was the only one in our neighborhood who had a TV on our street and the small living room was wall to wall with people who came to see this so very funny show . Awesome, I get to see it too. Good clean and funny.
Love love loved this show. Well cast and hilarious show on T.V. from beginning to end. And I was so fortunate to meet them at channel 13 in Tampa when they came in to talk about the show. My dad worked there as Chief announcer and we were able to chat with them after. They are as funny and so nice. I have never forgotten them and I am still able to watch the show with clips on you tube. They just don't make the high quality TV shows now as we had back then. Reality shows and bachelor shows along with others are what is called " TV shows" I'll take comedies like this any day. Thank you to all who made us laugh. Good clean humor.
I agree with you 100 percent. Today's TV does not have anything to compare with this. However, if it did, it would be just as popular now as it was then. Btw, you might enjoy the "Dry Bar Comedy Channel". It has lots of hilarious clean comedians. And also the Jeane Robertson channel. And James Gregory, the "Funniest Man in America".

During one of the Q and A segments at the beginning of her show, Carol Burnett mentioned to a British audience member that these sketches were not specifically intended to be a caricature of Queen Elizabeth, which explains why Harvey Korman is playing "the King" and why Tim Conway has an American accent.

Those three worked great together. Love her show. Can’t make this show now days it would cost to much and thou they are some good comedians out there in show business they wouldn’t be these three. Classic greats.
The fact that Queen Elizabeth just recently passed away it really puts into perspective how long she was married to Philip and how long she was on the throne.
Favorite CB skits. My family still does the “hellowe,hellowe” thing every now and then. And the way Tim Conway doesn’t even attempt an accent. Like, how is an American a British hero?😂
Knowing how mischievous the Boys were when they were younger, I wonder of they ever asked their Grandmother for a Buffalo flavored popsicle. The Queen had such a sense of humor I'm sure she enjoyed that sketch.

That was when humor was "clean". They didn't need swearing or curse words. One of the best skits, is the Dentist skit, with Tim as the Dentist, and Harvey as the patient.
