Awesome video! I'm in new York right now 😁 We walked across Brooklyn Bridge today and spent the day in Dumbo, absolutely loved it there. It was raining Sunday, so we went to Grand Central Station and The World Trade Centre Museum.
Last week we visited the City first time (thank you Jon for all your NYC guides!) and accidentally found ourselves in the Meatpacking District's Restoration Hardware’s store - The Gallery. We were amazed!
We loved the New York Public Library when there in mid April, & of course, my 24 year old son had to go to children’s library which I can say was very interesting, & everyone should check it out! I’m dying to go to the transit museum next time I go to NYC! Thanks for such great videos. I want to go back so badly but got to save up the funds$$$.

i was in NYC in March it rained the whole time. I loved it. I wasn't cold the streets were less crowded and most of the Scammers/Hustlers were not bugging me for anything. I'm going back in October to see Billy Joel at MSG again. Thanks for the video's they have been a big help.
We were in NYC last week-first time. Ate pizza under Brooklyn Bridge at Juliana’s-so good! Went to Central Park and 911 Memorial. Sarge’s Pastrami on rye was good. Best Bagel &Coffee on 35th was so good!! We only had one day to do anything.Wish we had more time to go to an independent book store. Love your videos Jon

Great Video as always! I go down to the city a lot and I keep learning new things and places cos of your suggestions. I do want to say for cheap broadway tix broadwayforbrokepeople is another great place to look too. Playbill keeps a list of both Broadway and Off-Broadway and their respective theatres' SRO and rush policies (which is another cheap way to get Bway tix!)
Thanks for another great post Jon! BTW, haven’t tried Eataly in Manhattan... but have had some great experiences with Eataly location at the Pru Center in Boston. Still... for Italian (and especially pizza!) in NYC I’m going to stick with some of the “Mom and Pop” restaurants you’ve shown us in some of your other posts! Keep up the great work!
There are two Eataly locations in NYC... the first between 23rd and 24th st on 5th ave and the second at 4 World Trade Center ( my favorite). Prince St pizza , Joe's of Carmine, Bleecker St pizza, Ben's Pizza on Spring St, DiFara's on Ave J, Brooklyn, Two Boots pizza various locations around Manhattan, and a few great pizza restaurants among the 5 boroughs.. Do your due diligence on www.yelp.com pizza.
HaHa. Good timing on this video. Took a group of Philly friends to see Hudson Yards and we did the Circle Line cruise on Sunday and as you know, it rained all day. We had purchased the tickets a month ago. By the way, om your recommendation went to Los Tacos for lunch. Pretty good. Not 100% sure but I think Daniel Jones was behind me in line. I'm not one to ask for autographs.
As non New Yorkers, the family was looking to rest our feet for a bit so we went to the Paley museum of TV/Radio and took some time to sit in the a/c and rest up before getting back to our walking. Good rest-stop. We could have stayed there so long but were only there on a pit stop

It's raining cats and dogs in my city and I started watching this video and only 2 minutes into the video. I realised my roof is leaking directly on my bookshelf. 📚 Maybe its god way of telling me to look at my bookshelf on a raining day, not a bookstore.
Try image anime, it’s a mecha for Japanese goods especially Gundam models as there is a giant wall of them just there. I bought two really good ones from there worth the trip. Look in the back they have arcade machines that are only found in japan. They also have Rare SH figurarts that aren’t available in the states. Midtown comics is also a good place to stop in as it is a rather large comic book store which is saying a lot for Manhattan. There is some good stuff out there so look around. I believe image anime is towards the Bowery in Chinatown but I forgot exactly where and midtown comics has 4 locations you’ll have to find the location you like I myself like Times Square which is the largest.

Im also a machinist so I love American history, and pizza. Anyway, Jon, I’m 45 minutes away from Chicago and NY city seems so much better. Any thoughts on this?

So with the uncommons I found their manager to be very rude. Also during the pandemic, the employees would yell to put your masks back on; even between Wine sipping and eating. Just not the boardgame spot i reccomend as a native New Yorker. I recommend Hex & Company!
