I read this in one of those they wrote to honor the soldiers who died fighting for freedom. My father though he did not die in the war also bled for it.

No, it was for the Philippines' participation on the war, not dedicated for a single battle. Yultong wasn't even mentioned. The battles mentioned in the monument were Waegwan, Imjin, Gimcheon, Daegu, and Cheolwon.
