Bloody hell, you need more than a Summer Pack to live there! If I were to venture to Kiwi Land I would do a trip on the Earnslaw then be on the next plane back to warmth, it's an alleged 27 deg here and I have a jumper on. There was a coal fired steamer running from Perth to Garden Island before the navy hijacked the island, I travelled on it many times, it was called Zephyr, last I saw it it was run aground on GI and broken up. Hope you will be back in Oz soon, I shiver watching you over there.
Yes it was rather chilli over there that’s for sure, we are back in oz now and have finally defrosted 🥶😜. That’s interesting about the steamer in perth… shame to hear it’s been left to deteriorate in garden island 🏝️

Even in February to March you can get some snow on the Remarkables so tell your friends if they go to the South Island in summer pack some warm clothes as well. Loved the lake adventure 😀

Starting in Queenstown, going to Te Anau, mildord, Wanaka, West Coast, Arthurs Pass, Mt Cook, back to Milton. Can't wait to show my husband and son my beautiful homeland. Yes, well we have landed back on this side of the ditch and it felt like the middle of summer to us after being in New Zealand, so we thought we would try to encourage Summer even more by doing the giveaway haha! Yup our last tip it snowed while we were down in Milford in February but lucky The Warehouse always has warm clothing for emergencies lol
