Joe, thanks for sharing your raw experiences and realities of this business. I shot weddings for several years, and people can't believe some of the stories I tell them about shooting weddings and receptions. Photography sounds glamorous, but it's maybe 10% glamor and 90% work. But there are times like when I handed a mother a 16x20 print of her daughter, and she cried because she thought it was so beautiful, that it makes all the work worth the effort. That's priceless to me. Thank you for doing this video.
Joe you are such a wonderful human being, truly humanitarian and skilful photographer. Thanks so much for this, can’t wait for you to visit the UK once again so I can get to see you on stage again. You’re an amazing teacher sir 😉
Wow, thank you B&H for hosting this session with Joe. Incredible work! I always learn and am challenged by the talented artists you have on your channel.
Thank you for sharing your kind spirit, entertaining narrative, and craft mastery! I have been wanting to attend one of your workshops. The Costa Rica one would have been an inspiring departure from my typical wedding work, but the timing didn't work for me. I look forward to learning from you in person soon!
I certainly admire you, Joseph, (when did you stop being "Joe"?) both as a photographer and as a person. Wonderful instructor..........please bring us more!
This is so inspiring! Though I am also thoroughly distracted wondering where I can get the Hanson Brothers print on Joe’s wall! (If anyone knows, please drop a comment. I have a Johnstown native who would love it!)
Can you maybe get rid of the (essentially) Zoom advertisement in the lower right of the screen?...even if you (B&H) have to pay a little for a better account? Or maybe MS Teams would be an option (I know at work, we can easily record Teams meetings).
Thanks Joe, B&H and Nikon! 🎉
I loved every second of this. God bless Joe McNally.
Thank you for the kindness!

I knew that was Tokyo before Joe mentioned the shot. I’ll have to consider my 600mm for the next time I go back.
