I work in a grocery store that only has paper bags. I didn’t even need the flashback, I’m already there lol
Had a customer ask if our walmart had the big bags (we stopped carrying them, even the tiny ones for jewelry or gift cards are no longer available). When I answered him, he said this store was going down hill. Little extreme for a bag size. I have had customers complain that we should have paper bags like their Walmart has. I didn't even know a Walmart with paper bags and neither does anyone else when I told them about this.

I gratefully accepted them despite being a heavily closeted trans guy and my mother being girly), so I have given a lot of my stuff away to trans women or charity shops. My mother complains that she has no clothes, but she has filled

While there are certain circumstances that would make being a single mother not a poor choice by the mother, in most cases (especially in modern days) dont let a dude that isn't sure to stay and be a father bust an unprotected nut inside you. You know what kind of man is going to be one and what kind of man isn't. Pick the right one. I am a man, I am not proud of the boy I was at 16-21, all I wanted to do was get a higher body count. I'm ashamed of that, nowadays I want a family, I'm married and we're still not going to try for kids yet, because were still a little to young and I dont think we're necessarily ready yet, but if it happens we'll just have to adapt and do it. Sex with strangers or people you dont see the rest of your life in is a mistake. It may sound hypocritical from me, but I think the best person to tell you about the dangers of smoking is an ex-smoker. And finally, as someone raised by a single father, the best single parent can only be as good as good couples parents. Unfortunately it isnt about how hard you try, it's about time, which waits on nobody.
I swear every time I hear "I'm a single mom" or "we're family" I roll my eyes so hard I see the back of my skull.
You know, our parents generation had an abundance of families being broken apart by the father running off with his secretary, leaving his wife and kids with nothing. Yet, somehow, those women not only managed, but raised successful children. My mother in law is one of them, my husband’s father left when he was 12. How the fuck did we go from women holding it down to a nation of single mothers, constantly expecting a handout?

@@monsterboomer8051 I disagree. Yes, there are a subset of welfare recipients who game the system and contribute nothing to society, but there are so many more who use it as intended. I was on medicaid just long enough to get help for my mental illnesses (which went undiagnosed because I couldn't pay for a doctor before medicaid), then once I had gotten help and stabilized enough to get a solid job I went off of it. Also have had to utilize unemployment due to being terminated wrongfully and not being able to find a job between employers. It's not all "lazy and stupid parasites," as you put it. There are a lot of people who are just in a bad situation who need temporary help. Shutting the whole thing down would hurt many, many more people than you think.

I put all of my dolls on freecycle, requiring best story for why I should choose recipients. Made the local paper. My dolls were Madame Alexander's. I had a Cissy, and Elise dolls, along with the smaller ones. I gave away the entire collection. Even had a porcelain Margaret O"Brien. The updates on how they were received were so sweet! One even went to a little girl, in Egypt! Another went to an elderly mom. I love to see the smiles on people's faces, when I do things like this. I'm between jobs, and living in a bedroom, in a friend's home. Can't do that, right now, but when I'm able, I want to do it, again. 🙂

If you're broke, why on earth are you leasing? That's so stupid, leasing is the most expensive way to drive a car out of all the ways possible, it's just so stupid.
Might be more expensive on the long run yeah, but it's still the most accessible option for people who can't fork out the full price of a car in one go and/or don't have the possibility of saving up for one. If you're broke and really need a car better lease a car that's in good state than buying a cheap piece of shit that's gonna break and end up costing you more in repairs than it's own price. Having a car is often a necessity in the working world today, and think it's stupid if you want but sometimes leasing is just the only option
@@HetaleaBy far the cheapest way of utilizing a car is by finding a reliable car for 1-3k and having a Mechanic do a Pre Purchase Inspection (PPI), that way you will have a very high chance of owning a decent car that you can keep as long as you need with no extra charge. If you want to make payments that's a bad idea too, buying things with money you don't have, but at least at the end of it, you still own a depreciating asset which is better than a Lease when you don't own anything. Payments on a lease are similar to buying a car though financing, and after a couple of months you'll pay well over what it costs to buy a cheap, decent car in cash, which is the best way.

What you're saying is that you're better off spending more money in the long run, because you can spent money (that isn't yours) right away. Instant gratification at it's finest.
Leasing is a great example of how the people with less money end up paying more for everything. Leasing is the most expensive option, but a person could get into a lease even when they don't have enough to buy a used car for a couple of grand. It is not just cars, but many things in life that work the same way. In the city that I live in Rent are very high. My mortgage on a suburban home is less than a 2 bedroom apartment in the cheapest area of town.
You've got to wonder about CB brain logic: "I'm hard up, man, pay for my stuff." "No." "Oh, you think you're so great because you make money? I make way more than you" "...Then why do I need to pay more money?"
You ever notice how the people who want to borrow your stuff are usually the same people who would give it back to you ruined and then say, "I don't see what the big deal is."

To the woman who complained about her ex not folding the laundry, it’s not his responsibility to do your laundry. He did his kids laundry because he’s their father, any laundry of your own that he did is him doing you a courtesy when the truth is he wasn’t obligated to do so. It’s clear why he’s your ex, but frankly if I were him I’d have just done my kids and left her with a collection of dirty clothes for her to clean the next time she asks me to do it

Great idea, terrible execution. This "rSlash" character has the audacity to sit there, at home, with his adorable dog, and post videos when I am supposed to be in school. I have contracted sickness, which I'm sure I got from here, and now he has outed himself as trying to avoid me and my service. Does he not know what I bring to his channel?
I am asking for an apology from the owner, as I'm sure "rSlash" is just an alias. That's right, I see right through you. If I don't see an apology, I will be suing for emotional damages and willful ignorance of a customer.

I asked a friend to make a free user icon for one once, what he gave me probably took very little effort, looked pretty corny, but I was HAPPY for it, and I was glad to use it cause it fit what I asked for and I was glad he did not have to put much effort into it! Seeing other asking for free art, then being all butt hurt about what they get just pisses me off.
