I had to comment about the private vlogs. My mom set up a camcorder (1995 version of a camera😂) on every single Easter and Christmas morning. She did it up until she and my father divorced when I was 15. My uncle then took those tapes and put them on google drive and google photos so I always have them to watch. It is by far my favorite gift I have ever been given. I am 25 and I thank my mom all the time for doing it. My father is also paralyzed from the chest down and has been since I was 1 year old. I have no memories of him walking but I do have videos. I am able to go back and watch those special moments. And I LOVE that you guys are doing it. It will be so so special!

So glad you all talked about finding confidence in a digital world. I teach middle school and these poor kids are constantly contributing to hate or being hated on. It’s so hard for them. I’m grateful to not have grown up with that mentality, but trying to break it with the future generation!
hahah my sister and I are 8 years apart.. but really she’s always been so mature that you can’t see the difference and she is my best friend even if she’s 20 and I’m 29. I honestly think the gap is great because I got to help my mom out with her and it’s like I helped raised my first kid already! My husband and I are expecting our first now and sometimes I’m like hmm I wouldn’t mind waiting 6 years 😄

I totally agree with how Matt & Abby go about not sharing their kids. By not showing their kids faces, they are protecting their kids, and also taking the focus off of them and having the video be more focused on Matt & Abby, and parenthood. Which is great! People should follow their channel for Matt & Abby not because of their children.
