I subscribed to you guys the day I first heard your cover of Heartbeat Song (and consequently put it on repeat for a ludicrously long time). I often hear that song (among all your others) blasting from my daughter's room (she's 12) because we're both huge fans. You guys never cease to be amazing and I would not hesitate to buy an album if you guys release one. Edit: Also, unsurprisingly, I have listened to this six times within half an hour of posting this comment.
To be honest, it's probably Myke's favorite (our singer). Seagulls songs convert to hard rock so easily and they're so much fun to sing. Thank you!! \m/
Just wow. This is one of my favorite songs, if not my favorite. You did it more than justice. I'll be listening to this pretty regularly now. Awesome job.
Finally, a real review that can be shared at next band practice. Carl, you can post on any of our videos anytime, and drink with us (as long as it's in the Hollywood area).
Thank you. Probably our best video yet and we absolutely love doing these 80s covers. Don't sell as well but the songs are a blast to sing and perform :) \m/
Well hot damn, thank you. We're trying. Currently working on a new mix of the Til Tuesday song "Voices Carry" and Simple Minds' "Don't You". Thanks for listening and we'll keep on kicking out tunes. \m/
01. We love remixing Seagulls songs. Translate to metal so well. 02. Thanks for kicking out some feedback. Love reading these. We also did 'I Ran" (it's on iTunes). Should get a video done for it in 2017 hopefully. Happy new years and sorry for the lag, didn't get any notifications from UA-cam this month for some reason. \m/
Appreciate it. The video was a beast to get done (no budget no crew). We have another Flock / Seagulls song on iTunes (someday we'll do a video). Happy new years and sorry for the lag, didn't get any notifications from UA-cam this month for some reason. \m/
WTF!!!!!! where the hell has the world been hiding you guys?!.. I say lets call Doc! We need to get back to the year 1982 so you guys can re-record this song!...AWESOME
We usually hide out in dimly lit goth clubs and super classy strip joints like Cheetahs and Jumbos clown room. If you ever want to make piss-poor life decisions and are in the Hollywood area, feel free to hit us up!
Holly f*ck balls we greatly appreciate that. We have another Flock / Seagulls track up on iTunes in case you're in a metal / new wave kinda mood. Happy new years and sorry for the lag, didn't get any notifications form UA-cam this month for some reason. \m/
+dexterlabor6 Recorded about 6 or 7 new wave songs metal style (took forever) and now we've switched into shooting videos for them. So. Hopefully we're back in action (on UA-cam) going forward \m/
The original video is fairly stunningly awesome and we did want to "recreate it" ... but that's too much work. It's far more fun to throw a mid-day Saturday house party, drink and film it. \m/
Separate reply, and thank you. This is a good example of the 80s material we're going after. All that old New Wave stuff translates so well into metal. Would have finished more this week but HEP-C and I went to Trocadero (Hollywood) 2x this week and drank way too much. Singing drunk I've found is always a futile exercise. \m/
Death Blossoms I see exactly what you mean, One of my favorite covers of yours is "I Ran (so far away)" by A Flock of Seagulls, fucking epic song, translated really well. Also, drinking too much is generally what I end up doing when I go out (bad singing included) so I know where you're coming from. If I ever find myself in America I have to shout you guys a few drinks. \m/
Definitely! And sadly, no... We love the Last Star Fighter but our name isn't an homage to the movie or the Rise Against track, though we did beat the latter to the punch by about 3 years. It's a cross between a stereotypical metal band name and something super colorful and irritatingly cheerful.
Honestly, it is. We also did it long before the Cosby thing. Who knew that mess was gonna blow up so large and in charge. We figured the Scientology angle would smooth the blow of the sensitive matter at hand.
That's a fair comment. The original is pop perfection but we though it would be nice to have a harder rock version to kick around. The cover The Seagulls put out a few months ago with the live orchestra is stunning awesome. Google it !! \m/

You guys nailed it! Great cover.
To be honest, it's probably Myke's favorite (our singer). Seagulls songs convert to hard rock so easily and they're so much fun to sing. Thank you!! \m/

Thank you, we're trying to get back to making videos again soon enough.
You guys are freaking awesome!!!!!!!I was just randomly looking for some jams and came across your stuff....ITS GREAT!
Just wow. This is one of my favorite songs, if not my favorite. You did it more than justice. I'll be listening to this pretty regularly now. Awesome job.

the orignal sound good,.................but really this cover is very very good version ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡
Ahhhhh, thank you! If we had our way we'd do a lot more Seagulls covers, but alas ... only so much time in the recording night.
Wow, I didn’t know that my favourite song could get any better! Awesome job guys!
That's kind of the king ding dong of comments (being that the original is so damn cool to begin with). Thank you !! \m/
this cover rocks!!
Thank you. Probably our best video yet and we absolutely love doing these 80s covers. Don't sell as well but the songs are a blast to sing and perform :) \m/

clipe legal
Totally legal (we think) \m/
trippy
+CM M There should have been more liquor and drugs there, but then nothing would have gotten filmed. \m/
This is awesome!

Thank you. We worked pretty long and hard on both the mix and filming this insanely numb nuckle video. :) \m/

Death Blossoms definitely gonna check it out! happy new years to all of you as well!
Wow! you guys still alive!!

Nice!!!!!!!!!
So much this! I saw the original AFoS back in the day.... But... THIS IS AWESOME!!!
The original video is fairly stunningly awesome and we did want to "recreate it" ... but that's too much work. It's far more fun to throw a mid-day Saturday house party, drink and film it. \m/
Oh my fucking lack of a god!!!! That was absolutely awesome!!!
This music is literally the best stuff to get drunk and high to.

Death Blossoms Done deal \m/
paul reynolds would love this I think
I want to know what the letter said. :-)!
I was wondering if i can use your music in my vlog coming soon dedicated to all things 80's. Death Blossoms ha?......The Last Starfighter?
Definitely! And sadly, no... We love the Last Star Fighter but our name isn't an homage to the movie or the Rise Against track, though we did beat the latter to the punch by about 3 years. It's a cross between a stereotypical metal band name and something super colorful and irritatingly cheerful.
Love the song but I get the feeling the video is about date rape.
Honestly, it is. We also did it long before the Cosby thing. Who knew that mess was gonna blow up so large and in charge. We figured the Scientology angle would smooth the blow of the sensitive matter at hand.
Ya know this is just as good as the original but yet not as good to be honest,
That's a fair comment. The original is pop perfection but we though it would be nice to have a harder rock version to kick around. The cover The Seagulls put out a few months ago with the live orchestra is stunning awesome. Google it !! \m/
poor males
We had to sacrifice them for the health of the others. Such heroes. Such bravery.
What’s with the Hep C note?? Gross
The kids call it a "double entendre". Our bass bass player goes by the name HEPC. Don't ask. We tried to talk him out of it.
