I have made alot of stuff out of that book and the replies are great I once had a woman jump up and say who made the pulled pork it was absolutely the best she has ever had

Just my opinion.... I would not use a sharping steel to poke a hole in the chicken. That is used to shave off tiny micro bits of metal off your knife to sharpen it. Unless you REALLY wash it well before use. A boning knife will work just the same.

Nah, I'm from the American south and we season our food well. Just this guy didn't. I'm from Louisiana, and believe me, I would've marinated it and seasoned it well and made it spicy because that's how we eat in Louisiana with flavor. Southern food is some serious eatin'!
