Super explanation 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 1 question: Does your ProFX10v3 usb output L/R has a sightly bumb in one of the L/R signal? I Just got mine and hás like your graphic shows.
@@adamromanoficial yes i actually noticed that before even on the first time using it and i thought it is some kind of a factory defect. i just make a way to handle that issue by lowering the usb 3&4 signal by 2db in the profx software configuration. in that way, it maintains the pan knob into the center with a balance signal levels.
I have a question, how do you avoid loopback from your PC audio back into a voice comm service? I called Mackie themselves and they told me you can't avoid a loopback with this mixer. I'd love to talk with you personally about this and how to make this work.
Hi Grid21, on the first time I tested it im also worried that it might loopback or make a feedback when i made the zoom speaker output into profx usb 3&4 instead of the usual way sending it to profx usb 1&2 with the Blend knob for monitoring to avoid loopback as we know that usb 1&2 monitoring returns wont go out to your main mix and usb 1&2 inputs. I prefer to send the zoom speaker output to usb returns 3&4 for some reason that when you monitor analog inputs into usb 1&2 with the Blend knob it sounds like mono but when coming from the returns, it sounds fine and normal. when deactivated the " TO PHONES/CR button, they sound naturally stereo both analog inputs and usb return signals and i dont know why. Doing a series of test, surprising it doesn't create a lookpback for microphone signals but the other playback music signals from your computer or that comes into your spotify or youtube pass through and i dont know how it works its like an algorithm or something. since it works fine for me with no problems, ill leave that to the makers of this mixer haha. 🙂
@@SondmireProductions That's interesting. If you use analog inputs in the other channels, does it also get routed into the USB 3/4? I wish I could get my hands on this mixer before trying it because I am looking to replace my Yamaha MG10XU as it doesn't do what I was expected it to do.
Hi, This mixer has 2 inputs and 4 outputs usb interface.. meaning you will get 2 mono inputs if you pan left (Usb 1) and right (usb 2). its a stereo pair of usb 1 and 2 in normal setting.. so your analog inputs will only be routed to usb 1 & 2 and into your analog Main Mix. The usb 1&2 output will only be routed into your control room speakers and headphones output for monitoring if the " To phones / CR " switch is engaged and will not be routed to your usb 1&2 and Main mix to avoid loopback signal.. your usb 3&4 output returns can be mixed up along with your analog inputs and send it to usb 1&2 and to your analog Main mix 🙂🎧🎛️🎚️

Hey Thanks :) it depends on what you need for your Live sreaming. Using OBS for your live streaming add more spice and flexibility to your stream. Well you can also use this mixer directly going to ZOOM if you don't want to use OBS.

if you're seeing it as profx 2in, 4out that's fine because you are using mac. im using windows on my video. regarding the meter, make sure that all panning knob in each channel is at the center. lower your gain and volume level first to eliminate feedback.. in ableton live, make sure to set your outputs channels into 1/2 or 3/4 depends on what you prefer.

Hi, you will need a powered usb hub to connect your mixer into your smartphone. also be aware of what type of usb port you need to connect it into your smartphone.
you can also use the usb audio interface of your pro fx v2 for obs or zoom as your audio aux input but it doesn't support usb returns like on the profxv3 which allows you to monitor on usb 1&2 and make a loopback on usb returns 3&4.
Haven't tried it yet on mac but it should work fine since most of the usb audio interface should work as plug and play on mac without any drivers installation needed and just need some little configuration on the MIDI and AUDIO device setup to use it as your default input and output device for your mac.

@@eademsedaliter hello, it depends on your setup requirements. if you need separate multiple output channels, its good to have both audio interface and audio mixer. But as of now on my setup, im just using the mackie profx10v3 audio mixer and it fits to my needs. :)
Do I have to be the host on the zoom meeting to use my mackie features to talk and play live music ?
Hi, you can use this even your not the host :)
Hi, I have managed to set up the MIXER everything is working fine apart from the USB 3-4 Return When activated, I Turn the level 9/ 10 I am getting A annoying echo sound. I can only turn it a quarter of the way up to avoid echo but it’s not loud enough when I’m mixing Do you have any idea what the problem is? I have tried just about everything your help will be much appreciated. Thank you
I think I may have got it working now. I’ve just updated the drivers for the MIXER. The ProFX Plus_Win_ Driver. Hoping I’m not going run into anymore problems.Fingers 🤞🏾
Will it's effect work on zoom meeting?
Yes it will. If you will setup your zoom audio setting by turning on original sound , stereo mode and Hifi music mode. Also set the zoom echo filter to low. That should work without much of zoom filtering your sound and make it dull.
I can’t figure out why my main out won’t play in stereo (XLR to RCA).....line in on stereo... can you help me out
Hi, what is your setup ? are you trying to achieve a stereo setup for your speaker monitors ?
The main out plugs XLR and TRS will not play sound. Only when I connect in the control room outlets....I don’t have active monitors I have a stereo amplifier
@@westadamstrucking538 first thing to do is check if there is any signal going to your mixer in the Led level meter. if still no signal, check your cables and routing . make sure your master volume control is in Unity and adjust the channel volume slowly. it should have signal going to your outputs now.
This is 4 years old, is it still relevant? I'm having a hell of a time with OBS and this mixer specifically I canNOT get the audio to work.
sir supported po ba mixcraft ang mackie pro 6v3?
it should work fine 👍
question: When i do the ableton settings put it on 1/2 for cue and 3/4 for master OBS does not give anything to the line anymore.
Is there any fix?
Hi Davy, what are you trying to achieve here? you want to send the ableton outputs going to OBS ?
Yes but as soon as i let ableton use the mackie obs is not receiving a signal anymore on the line from the mackie. if you know what i mean ^^
i have the mackie profx16 with 2 dj's consoles connected, arturia's microfreak and a mic.
My goal is to have all the sound in OBS,
from all the hardware and then also ableton.
ok, your mackie pro fx is also version 3?
@@SondmireProductions yup
have you done setting up obs auxiliary/mic input as mackie profx line? after that you should be getting a signal from mackie profx usb 1/2 inputs going into OBS.
Plase make an tutorial How to setup MACKIE PROFX16v3 in computer HP windows. thanks in advance.
Hi Sandokan. Do you mean how to set up the drivers of the pro fx v3 mixer on windows to use it as your audio interface to your windows computer ?
@@SondmireProductions Yes exactly dear. and i want to use it for Livestream ,with Cubase, vocals, audio music.ecc.Thanks in advance.( sorry for my bad English)

Thank You :)

Hi, what do yo exactly mean ?
THANKS IDOL!!
Brother pwd kaya v8 soundcard set up nito connecting zoom and obs?
Hi, not yet tried V8 soundcard for this setup. but surely it will not give you the same flexibility and audio quality that you may want that this mixer can do 🙂
Thanks brother, naset up ko na din last night! ;) low budget for now kasi
@@roideldig9770 no prblemo 👌🙂
Hi Bro.After setup MACKIE PROFX16v3 in computer, how to connect iphone or whatever Smart phone. in Mixer Mackie for Livestream? Please help me Bro.Thank you so much. Please please.
Hi, you will need a powered usb hub to connect your mixer into your smartphone. also be aware of what type of usb port you need to connect it into your smartphone.
@@SondmireProductions Thanks Bro.
no problemo 👌🙂
Can seem to get much volume Sending out to zoom even with everything turned up on the mixer
what is your mixer settings and what audio source you're feeding into the mixer ?
Link po where to buy or any lead po physical shop. Thanks
The Music Source. Barrington place congressional ave. QC.
Recently it came to my notice, that effect of this device is not working in zoom meeting
What do you mean not working on zoom? Can you elaborate it more?
What about profx version
Version 2
you can also use the usb audio interface of your pro fx v2 for obs or zoom as your audio aux input but it doesn't support usb returns like on the profxv3 which allows you to monitor on usb 1&2 and make a loopback on usb returns 3&4.
Boss natry mo na ba to sa Mac?
Haven't tried it yet on mac but it should work fine since most of the usb audio interface should work as plug and play on mac without any drivers installation needed and just need some little configuration on the MIDI and AUDIO device setup to use it as your default input and output device for your mac.
@@SondmireProductions thanks.
That song...
May OBS ba for mackie profx V2?
OBS latest version should also work fine if you have a mackie pro fx 2.. as long it has a usb audio interface that you can route inside OBS 🙂
High tech naman yang gamit nyo po.
salamat po mam :)
