Amount of lens flare is similar, however both can be better than the other in specific situations at specific angles. It is very easy to misrepresent one as better than the other by cherry picking stills or taking videos at different times in different lighting situations.
Claims of extreme lens flare are false. Other claims of vignetting and distortion are grossly exaggerated through the use of improper testing equipment and methodology. It is not known whether this is due to malice or simple incompetence.
Occasional colour differences exist as sometimes LPMRs will automatically perform some colour grading at different times.

Love this comparison. Can you address the complaints about reduced eye box and eye relief on the RPO 3.0s?

Those are greatly exaggerated through the use of improper test equipment. The eye relief is the same as the PVS-31A for which RPO also makes the lens system.

@@opfornightsolutionscorp so how close are the PVS31 lenses to RPO 3.0s? (in terms of eye box/eye relief? im ok with the artifacts and some lens issues in super bright lights because im really in love with dropping 3 oz from my nods but the small eye box makes me think it will be harder to observe vs the carson glass.
