So fun fact about the shade of white they chose; in stuff like games you NEVER want to use all white or all black if you can help it because its an incredible strain on the eyes. Its good design for them to choose a more eye-pleasing off-white because otherwise your retinas might burn out, or be strained from looking at something so awkwardly bright on the screen when nothing else is that bright by contrast.
