Woah, a posable lightining McQueen that can be a toy *and* a figure, that's probably one of the best ideas you've ever done, specially since it would skyrocket the sales and make it one of the best diecast of all time, seriously, it's one of the best customs i've seen in this channel, huge props to you!
Thank you so much! It's an idea I've had for years actually and I bet it could be made even better by the real toy engineers Mattel has. Basically like that 1:24 scale poseable Bandai McQueen but shrunk down to 1:55 scale. Sadly we can only dream, but thanks very much once again! :)

Im so jealous of you, cause I actually wanted to do this 2 pack even since you made the OG damaged Cam Spinner lmao
Speaking of which, lots of improvements are noticeable ever since you made it, just like Speedway McQueen and Modified Chick in the Race damaged King video. McQueen on the other hands looks fantastic too, we definitely need more angry looking variants, specially with the new molds even tho I would rather if it had the old one or a better one like Mud Racing McQueen. One suggestion tho would be to give him a fully yellow flame Lightning Bolt, as that’s closer to the movie. You can find samples of it on the Cars Lightning League model textures.
That aside, really cool 2 pack, I’m looking forward to seeing the others.
Also, how you make the inside bubble for the cars to fit? And now did you posed McQueen so that he could still roll?
Thanks so incredibly much, Marcos! Wow, I guess genius minds think alike! I've had the template for this one sitting for a while before I decided it's time to make a Cars 3 video at last. It is truly a shame that they never made Cars 3 McQueen in the original body style or as you said a more accurate one like the XRS McQueen. I just took a 2021 blister of Ryan Laney and Eric Braker and hoped they'd fit. Anything similar works. To pose McQueen, I simply bent the axles slightly. Thanks so much for your continued support! :)

@@Z.L.B The plastic bases are actually just the blisters from 2021 packages, I just cut in the required places to allow the new cars to fit. :)

Thanks a lot! That is exactly what inspired me and a close friend of mine to make these custom packages in the first place - the sad lack of care we've seen from Mattel in recent years. In a way, it's a good thing because they'd never do Movie Moments again let alone damaged diecasts!

Thank you so very much! I think each year that passes Mattel doesn't do more damaged racers, they miss a huge opportunity! Worrying about a wrecked McQueen being on the pegs is so silly considering what a huge part of Cars 3 it was. I heard 2022 was their best year for Cars, but I guarantee they would be making double what they are now if they release damaged racers like McQueen, Doc, Claude & Todd or Cam Spinner which would inevitably go up in value like Mood Springs in the years to come. And yes, I'd really like to redo my old stop motions of those scenes eventually! That would make it the third time I attempt the Florida 500 wreck, but third times the charm I guess? Thanks so much again! :)

Not only This damage racers but variants that collectors want, there's only been one determined McQueen ever and it's a 12+ years old and it's a cars 1 Diecast, Jackson cruz, next gens and stock cars with good expresions, characters from the games like race o rama chick heck they had one line with that name and it has nothing to do with the game.
It's a wish not only for me but for fans for releases like those to happen, In the mean time you're and others customs are what we can enjoy.

How exactly did you remove the rookie stripes? Asking before I go messing up a Steve Lapage.
I used nail polish remover with a Q-tip. Good luck and keep that metallic foil safe! :)
