*Eastside Low Bottoms sh*t !* _Tappin' in from South Central LA_ The past few days I've been binging on these 'Gilbert on Stern' videos, at work driving and smiling 99.9% of the time. I'm sure the people driving next to me are jealous when they see my face ! 😂 Rest easy Mr. Gottfried 🙏🏾
Back in my day, we would listen to programs in real time on a radio, which was an appliance that could receive what we called radio waves. You would turn a dial until you heard voices from the speaker. Now, this was unlike a phonograph, which we also listened to back in my day, and which used large flat discs to play music. And the ladies, or girls as we used to call them, would dance along to the music when we played a phonograph, until the disc reached the end of the music, signaling them to stop.
@@41357500 Back in my day we would sit around the fireplace, or firebox as we called it, and listen to the entire radio programme, whereafter a discussion would take place regarding the thoughts, or opinions as they were called in my day, about what we had just completed listening to. Back in my day, there was no backward or forward scanning of radio programmes like these vulgar adolescents have today. It was like a western. The audio would broadcast, and you would either hear it, if you had what we called a radio machine, or you would miss it, and if you missed it you wouldn’t be able to participate in the discussion afterwards, as you did not physically hear the subject, which in this case would be the radio programme. A man, or sometimes a woman, or a female man as they were called back in my day, would speak into a microphone, and you would hear what they said through a radio machine. It really was like a western. If you didn’t listen to the last ten minutes of the programme, it was impossible to understand the joke, which we called a comedy cut-up back in my day.
A "thumbs up" is what we use to say when we would give a thumbs up and it was usually a positive expression, a thumbs down was a negative expression and then...
I’ve never said anything negative about Robin before, but the way she’s putting on airs about Gilbert for the benefit of the ‘journalist’ is nauseating. Gilbert’s usually way worse during the news and she’s acting like he farted in church. He didn’t even use the ‘Hard R.’ And the callers were correct, Howard was awful during the interview portion, he was stiff and unfunny. I put it down to shock over drama queen Artie’s failed stunt, but Howard bombed with GG in the first half.

One of my favorite gilbert ones, TYVM
I love how Gilbert is always fucking around, but when it comes to movies and shows, he couldn't sound more passionate and engaged in the conversation!
Gilly was a genius in ole' timey stuff. He was a fascinating man.

Thank you for what u do gilbert helps me with those depressing days 🙏 thanks
This is worth a thumbs up for the Gilbert's Groucho impression alone.
You know Harpo was called Harpo because he played the harp

@@Kristiansand808you see, back then we had thumbs...
I love to hear him laugh. I’ll start laughing no matter how questionable the subject is. RIP
This channel celebrates a national treasure that we lost... thank you
Huge props for Robin going back to that Popeyes Chicken reference Gilbert threw in that Howard stepped on lol
she only did that so she could point out that she's vegan
@@warshipsatin8764a victim like all the rest
1:22:50 it felt like a western, and it read like a western
Many geniuses gravitate towards mathematics. Gilbert veered toward comedy. He was socially awkward/socially inept. I really think Gilly was a Savant.
Thanks for uploading all of these. Much love 🙂🤘🙏
Thanks for the upload......RIP Gilbert
This is absolutely one of Gilbert’s best appearances….fucking hysterical!
I cannot get enough of Gilbert’s impression of Artie advising on the DVD.
Agree....heard tbis at the time and been trying to find this online...finally did today...this appearance was a classic
Gilbert s, imoression of Artie, is hysterical! He really did sound like he was talkjng with a mouth full of food.
from 1:05:01 to 1:07:30 encapsulates everything I loved about the Stern show
Groucho in heaven greeting Gilbert: "see? I knew there was something funny about those cavet bits!"
There are few things in life that have made me laugh harder than Gilbert's black Yosemite Sam voice.
The drops in this episode are EPIC!!
Imagine how much readership American Airline magazine would have gained if Robin's interviewer had followed Gilbert and Howard's advice to the letter
1:24:52 also busts me up! I have to come back to this episode every once in a while to get a good laugh.
One of my favorites.. It was like a western.. fucking hilarious
Epic old timey radio. 😂
Thanks for this channel.
Old timey?? It's not the "war of the worlds" or the Lone Ranger, that's old timey
I get the feeling Gilbert annoyed tf out of Robin. Lol
For sure. She’s a narcissist and he took all of the attention in the room with his humor. She pretended to like it cuz massah howie liked it
Legends never die
Fuckon A 🚀 Gilbert Gottfried lives on
Thankfully you will
Goo for you
It hit me today that this show should def be called, “Daddy Tuesday”.
Nice work on this. Appreciate the clip.
The airline magazine left all the good bits out.
Love the way you caught him quickly say It was like a western. Great naming strategy on this one and some of the others.👍
Awesome channel idea. We speak your name.
Back in my day
I've got a flat bush !!! Ooooh !
1:05:37 Gilly at his best!
FEARLESS!!!
His impressions were so well crafted and rehearsed, every affect and mannerism was captured.
There used to be a video called Artie and Gilbert‘s last time in studio together. It seems to have disappeared. Anyone know where one could find that?

Ya see what ya gotta do….
What was a cat doing near her colon??
Was this the last time Gilbert was in studio? I remember this appearance and also remember this was right around the time he was banned…
Nah. This is in 2011. His last appearance is in 2012. Very boring and serious.
