- I felt like making some Dubstep one day and thought it would be funny to base a song off Portal. It's not perfect but I'm pretty happy with it considering it's my first attempt at Dirty Dub. I'm open to all tips and critiques so if you feel something could sound better or different, leave a comment!

@LighthouseDiver I definitely feel that. It's my first real dirty dub song, and when I was making it I felt like I was running out of ideas not long after the first "melody". In the time since I posted this though, I've been working on mixing more instruments/parts into a song without it sounding like shit (which I had trouble with a few months ago). I actually should have a new song up in a few days that (IMO) kicks the $hit out of this one, haha. Thanks for the critique!

This is great!! Not too much hard dubstep, this is the perfect balance of bass and electronica. Extremely enjoyed this especially after playing portal 2, looking for something related to listen, and relax to. The sound track to portal 2 was so epic!

@iicyzX I actually used Pro Tools as the host, then slaved reason and massive as track inserts. I haven't used Cubase in a while, but if you installed the VST format when installing massive, you should be able to open it the same way as any other synth in an instrument track. i don't know if that helped, but let me know!

portal 3 is apparently in development according to a leak in tweet by one of the portal 3 developers, apparently. it should be finished in 2015 if it has started recently, if not then this year or next year. apparently.

just thinking but it sounds like it was made on a dubstep studio that i used for my begginer dubstep songs on a website.
I'm not much of a judge on musical composition, so I really can't give much in the way of constructive commenting, but I really enjoyed this, so much so, that I downloaded before the song was even finished. :D If you do fix it up, I'll be excited to hear the updated version.
