Blake has much better handle than most big men that play his style. Plus he has been really working on his post moves this year. Not to mention taking in game jumpers. He is still developing and has great potential!
i remember seeing some scenes from this video around 3:20, in that inspiring basketball video that talks about wanting success as bad as you want to breathe.
griffin could be a beast at volleyball! especially with his height and leaping ability and right hand coordination for dunking/blocking/ volleyball spiking lol.
while some of us have trouble controlling ONE freakin' ball while looking at the damn thing, Mr. Griffin controls two balls like they were air AND has a conversation with you about whether he should choose the grilled chicken or smoked salmon for dinner...and of course he does all of that while looking at you as if you're the most intriguing person out there...the guy is truly blessed and may he continue to be blessed throughout his NBA career;)...
Manhattan Beach, CA! It used to be open for free to the public but now you can only go with reservations and you can only make reservations during certain times of the year! Very lame.
@sconny09 I agree 100%, there are plenty of extremely talented people in high school and college that don't make it to the NBA because what might be strong and tall in college is only tall enough to be a point guard in the NBA, which is why I thought Chris Paul was short until I realized that we're the same height and i look tall to everyone around me lol
@xElectrOTeOx Yup, you do. The Hill is goes at a vertical slant, pushing your body weight backwards as you walk forward. What keeps you from falling?Your calf muscles mainly, and your ankle muscles as your support system. The more vertical the hill, the more strain you put on your calf and ankle muscles to move against gravity. Therefore, your calf and ankle muscles get bigger and stronger. If you did this for 3, maybe 4 months, you could probably be dunking on NBA regulation hoops.
All great P&R Powerfowards had great PG's. Karl Had Stockton... and Blake has CP3. CP3 is a perennial MVP candidate. Besides, Amare on his own last year was 25, 9, 2 blks 50% FG 2.6 Assists
"LeBron, hey let me call you back, Ight, nah I got Kobe on the other line... Alright peace, Kob hey do your thing Thursday, yeah I'll talk to you later, ight"
@alexoneilmovie No no, he had a really great season rookie year or otherwise. He had the whole 2009 preseason to practice, and the whole 2010 offseason to practice. He had more experience than all of the other rookies.
Yes,but, mostly to help then get into better shape faster... 5 minutes on a hill like that is a better/harder workout than probably 20 minutes on a court.
if you notice, the nba players are started to need to be more masculine to keep up . If you look at the best players of their respective position you see: Lebron: Muscular SF D.Rose: Muscular PG(for a point guard), Dwight Howard MuscularC, Blake griffin Muscular PF.
i think players like shaq and dwight howard prove you dont need a consistent mid range shot to be good. hes the 14th highest scorer in the nba right now hes scoring way more than players that do have consistent mid range shots..
@xElectrOTeOx Yes you do. Because they run up it trains the explosivness (don't know how to call it in english) and not the endurance. It's the same like jumping with a rope.. (again don't know how it's called in english)
I just don't get how someone who works this hard to get his athleticism lets himself have a part of his game (shooting) that's so much easier to repair lol
i really hope he comes out strong this season. If he keeps this work ethic up i dont see why he woulnt dude is a beast.
10000 hours the movement!
I love how he uses off balance movements. That will really create ease in movement.
Blake has much better handle than most big men that play his style. Plus he has been really working on his post moves this year. Not to mention taking in game jumpers. He is still developing and has great potential!
Lol that man gone be even more of a beast this coming year and that man hands huge as hell! haha
I think the best feeling ever in sports, other than winning games is when you've just finished sprints or the intense part of conditioning..
i remember seeing some scenes from this video around 3:20, in that inspiring basketball video that talks about wanting success as bad as you want to breathe.
That hill is the hill that Paul Westhead used to make Bo Kimble and Hank Gathers run up to train stamina.
its so crazy seeing how they all have better handling than prolly 90% of high school point guards
LMFAO "Am I supposed to do something interesting?Hey Lebron.."
His brother is the point guard when there playing.
dude, i want to be at your level some day, you got two top comments.
griffin could be a beast at volleyball! especially with his height and leaping ability and right hand coordination for dunking/blocking/ volleyball spiking lol.
Blake in his high pitched voice- "okay!" hahaha
Blake is a beast and I think bob hill likes seeing him dunk
where are these sand hills! looks like a good workout!
I love how people say "get your stuff right" xD and when they fail, it's so funny!
So he's always been a hilarious person lol

2:05 is the best part when he talks 2 LeBron & Kobe!
i think he needs to worry more about his game than his endurance because it looks like he has a lot of potential
Nick Fazekas, havent heard anything on him in forever. Remember watching him getting 2,000 points when he played at UNR
Blake really needs to get a nickname.
"Am I supposed to do something interesting?" Hahaha!
the dude has pretty good handles for a power forward
"Okay!"
Blake Monsterous Jam!
Let's hope he's training this hard during the lockout
Manhattan Beach, CA! It used to be open for free to the public but now you can only go with reservations and you can only make reservations during certain times of the year! Very lame.
Mannn i wish i could call Kobe and Lebron so chill like that haha
If he get a refined post game he will be unstoppable
Blake is amazing on his workout ethics!
damn i remember when i lived by a hill like that.Made it so easy to stay in shape
that sand training actually really helps no kidding
You asked "Since when was 6'10 and 255 lbs undersized?" and I responded since almost all the champs have had height (Dirk, Pau, Duncan etc etc etc)
that sand dune workout looks like hell
blakes easy 5 step workout
1st-run 11 miles
2nd-20,000 pushups
3rd-flip a car
4th-swim the english channel
5th- put a beached back in the water

The sand hill looks fun.
1:24- 1:26 LOLOL! in a high pitch voice "OK!" ROFL!
most intense work out ever
1:26 blake griffin saying ok in a squeky voice
heavy breathing "lets go alittle faster ;)"

@alexoneilmovie No no, he had a really great season rookie year or otherwise. He had the whole 2009 preseason to practice, and the whole 2010 offseason to practice. He had more experience than all of the other rookies.

Blakes a beast
OMG this looks really intense.
when he was on the phone with lebron he probably only heard it ring once
great work ethic
It'd be funny if they met him in an dark alley.
That's really impressive handle for a big dude
Yes,but, mostly to help then get into better shape faster... 5 minutes on a hill like that is a better/harder workout than probably 20 minutes on a court.

4:29 Marticiano and his dogs!
aye burlington i played on that court for aau lets go
i think players like shaq and dwight howard prove you dont need a consistent mid range shot to be good. hes the 14th highest scorer in the nba right now hes scoring way more than players that do have consistent mid range shots..
man i wanna do that stuff I wish had the time to dedicate to that
You've got to do this kind of stuff... you know Dwayne Wade and Bron-Bron are doing at least this much.
he did all that shit but end up fucking up his knee before the season even starterd
intense work out

This was a blake pre draft workout i think, paul got drafted a few years earlier
I have so much respect for that man right there
@xElectrOTeOx
Yes you do. Because they run up it trains the explosivness (don't know how to call it in english) and not the endurance. It's the same like jumping with a rope.. (again don't know how it's called in english)
haha gucci
blake : ok
Oh shit! The guy in the white OU shirt is Taylor Griffin!
When did larry david get into coaching?
I just don't get how someone who works this hard to get his athleticism lets himself have a part of his game (shooting) that's so much easier to repair lol
now , he is eclipsing lebron and kobe, they wud be the one to name-drop him this time
