I met Tommy Smith in Fazakerley Hospital........much after he retired....he was having problems with his knees....same as my wife.....he spoke to her with concern....encouraged her....a real gentleman he was.....R.I.P. Tommy. And Thank you.

i remember before the 1979 Cup Final there was a quiz question that said "What was brought to Wembley every year but never used". The answer was the losers ribbons for the FA Cup. However, it may have been Brian Clough who said that the answer should be Malcolm McDonald !!
