The new system for prepper's cache's require you to find a receiver (which I think is in the new airfield zone), then fix radio towers with the wires, batteries and fuses, and then when an aurora hits the receiver will work and you can use it to lead you to the prepper cache. I'm not sure if the new prepper caches are in interloper now or not, but if they have the fuses laying around they might be.
Actually, the new system leads you to SUPPLIE caches, which should not be confused for prepper caches. The former is a little tube with supplies that is beneath the snow and can only be collected with the receiver, and there's one in each region. Prepper caches on the other hand, are full on underground bunkers, which have no interaction with the receiver as far as i am aware. There are 9 in the whole island, 3 are fully stocked while the remaining 6 are empty. Which are empty and which are full is randomized each playthrough but the actual location of the caches is set in stone (unless they update them anyways). There are however other bunkers that can only be found with the receiver, but this are...different.
@@nintendoman12111 Thanks. I haven't played in a while and the new features confuse me. So do prepper caches work like they always did? They just spawn randomly? The only difference now is their spawn locations are different than they were before andthey spawn in more zones?
@@TheSuperhomosapien No worries! The way it works now is that there are 9 prepper caches, one in per region. The locations of this caches is set in stone and do not change now. What changes in each playthrough is which of the 9 caches will be empty and which will be stocked, in every playthrough there will be 3 stocked caches and 6 empty ones. *SPOILERS* The regions that have the caches are: Ash Cayon, Timberwolf Mountain, Pleasant Valley, Blackrock, Mystery Lake, Forlon Muskeg, Mountain Town, Hushed River Valley and Bleak Inlet. If you find one, it will always be there in the same place in subsequent playthroughs, whether it's empty or not is something else entirely.
When you get the radio in forsaken airfield you can use it to detect bunkers and supply caches. The supply caches show up as orange when you use the radio and the bunkers show up blue when you use the radio. Supply caches in interloper are pretty much worthless it really only contains and item or 2. In interloper the bunkers dont contain too much except in 1 of the 9 there's a cooking recipe
A few things - Stay fed for 3 days without going starving and you gain an extra 5kg of carry weight. - You can store your things easily in the drawers and cupboards you’ve already searched - The deep ominous music signals that your scent has been picked up on and you’re being hunted, so when you stepped out of the house, the wolves knew straight away 😬 - You can get way closer to the rabbits when throwing rocks at them, there is a sweet spot before they run away so as long as you get them before they get that close (and don’t move when they’ve got their ears up looking around) - BED BEFORE QUITTING, you just lost progress again 😂 I’m no vet by the way, played the game a year ago and recently bought it for switch. Day 56 on my first playthrough. Gonna move up to stalker soon.
Yup, though I've often not really been able to hit that "well-fed" modifier on Interloper, and meanwhile it's lost and the timer resets as soon as you starve for an instant. It's a really nice buff in the other three difficulties but I think that for a relative beginner Lime's been doing really good about prioritizing warmth and constant looting over keeping a calorie count up -- hunger and thirst take health away but they're not nearly as damaging as cold or fatigue, and unfortunately in 'Loper I've found that you sort of have to decide where your priorities are. Being well-fed is a luxury when food is as scarce (and diminishing) as it is!
@@SooLocksmith To be fair the well fed bonus may not exist on interloper as I haven’t seen many people caring much about it… Though just assumed it was a feature that is more recent than the other videos I’ve seen. As for food, if you’re a good hunter and have a map, you can earn yourself a decent haul of rabbit meat just hunting with rocks.. Really not that hard to do, just hard to find them consistently.
@@drentify i always forget what it sounds like as a coping mechanism lmao so i get caught so off guard by wolves. do you have a timestamp for the moment?
Your mind baffles me sometimes lime you went and sorted everything in the living room instead of in the kitchen where you have the nice large stove at and chose to use the fireplace as well XD
FYI, you will find using the cooking stove in the farmhouse will allow you to cook much more with less wood. It is a six burner rather than the two burner fireplace.
I've watched others play this game before and it always seemed rather dull. Walk a heavy haul 50 yds, hide to warm up in a cave, walk another 50 yds and need to sleep from cold and exhaustion, make water, water, water... Like with Zomboid, you are keeping it moving and entertaining. I'm glad you're showing us something new and different here... :)
Heya, got 2 tips for you: 1. you can sneak pretty close to rabbits by sort of spamming crouch (not standing up completely, crouching back down before it happens) so you can guarantee a hit, 2. there's usually food and stuff on the backseat of cars as well! Love this series, keep it up my dude :D
2:22 my head canon for real life now is that every canadian has a hidden stash or horde of maple syrup like drugs or viking/pirate gold somewhere in their home and nobody outside of canada was supposed to know that
During Aurora's you can use flashlights, pcs, laptops, elevators etc Also, inside that first hay barn, there is a way to walk the planks and beams and possibly find something under the roof
Doin' well. Drop your rabbits on the ground as you hunt for more. Won't attract wolves. Gather them up just before leave. Sleep an hour or go outside and come back inside to save your game before quitting. (game saves automatically when entering an interior, sleeping or being injured/poisoned/infected)
You can use stones to lure wolves away from you. The wolves will hear the stone fall on the ground where you throw them and they walk to it. When you are crouched, wolves need to be pretty close to spot you. So if you get in a situation where a wolf closes in on you, crouch and use the stones to lure them away.
8:11 You got a car battery this eatly??? omg those are so rare at interloper, I literally search over half of the world in my interloper save, over 100 cars checked, and not a single car battery found.
19:31 i might be wrong, but isn’t the place where you dropped off the meat still a part of the house? your temperature wasn’t going down, so i guess the meat won’t get frozen there, too?
those were not pigeons, they were ptarmigans 😤 i have never played this game in my life or even heard of it before your videos; i’m just an offended alaskan 😅
As a reminder, hatchet and knife don't spawn in interloper, you need to craft those tools too.

Always stoked for a new video! You're getting really good at hitting rabbits!
Great series! Great episode!
