Hello Sir I got 63% in 12th Is it enough to get into Public Studienkolleg? I am good at maths but unfortunately because of my personal issues I got 63% in 12th I am sure I will crack exam for Studienkolleg.
Yes it's possible, just try to highlight your strengths and make profile as good as you can. And then if you work hard on Studienkolleg scores, you should also get a good Uni as well.
That being said, even if you have to take good quality, but private Studienkolleg, then it may be worth it, because Studienkolleg is not for long term, and it's not as significant as bachelor's Uni, it's main purpose is to create solid base and crack good Uni.

@@minion4U It can be hard. But with high quality work experience like from MNCs and Some really good motivation and passion for the field related to Mastes, then you may get into decent public Uni. You have to convince them how you are passionate for topic and how it adds to your Profile for future.
Double masters is not a problem, many students do that in Europe.

So Firstly, you will have to make your profile strong, with quality recommendation letter, skills based certification related to your field, and German language certification...
Also, You will have to convince Admission committee about your passion for masters, and why you want to do it, how it will help you in your career, other then moving to Germany...
Everything is possible, you just need to do a good amount of research and invest time & effort to make your profile for your target course and school...

Yes... Just need to boost overall profile... Since % is a bit low, balance it with things like - Quality work ex, Quality recommendation letter, Quality Motivation letter, Well researched and matured decision-making and career vision, Higher German language certifications, Skill based certifications, High impactful role in job etc...
Plus most good MBA need GMAT/GRE, so scoring high in these exams is very beneficial...

Passport is needed to apply in universities?
Some consaltancy are saying that you can apply without passport... ?
Passport is not needed for initial application and getting admit, but will be needed for Visa purposes... Some uni me need you to upload passport copy for some authentication or validation, but some waive it till last... But it's better to have it as early possible...

Because your score is average, you need to make your profile stronger. By may be adding well recognised certificates or hackathons. And also adding MNC work Experience will boost your profile big time.

Depend on the field you want to Study, if math is important for it then it can be an issue with professor.. otherwise you may be good...
Also you can do online math course for subject you are weak on, and professors may see that as positive if math is important...

Your experience quality, what type of work you did, for what clients, will matter more... You can add extra strength to your profile by showing any certification if you have any... Plus German language course certification, even if you apply for English course, is a plus...

Can be accepted, if you can justify why only master in data science will help you in your career, and why you cannot learn it by yourself since you have high work ex. And then good Math is needed for Data Science.
Plus you will have to link how your pass experience and passion connect with your future goals... Data science is very different from Web development, it's kind of like starting new as a fresher again in new field...

German Visa Services are giving least priority to Berlin based private institutions, and they have overload of application.
Even many masters student are getting interview calls, and many are getting rejections as well.
Try reaching out to embassy every 30 days for status. Also ask your school to help.
Parallely start looking for backup plan options - specially try for public university. Visa process for publi uni are very fast.

Do you mean to repeat class 12? Absolutely not.. Don't waste your year to increase some %.. There are other ways around.. Firstly 72% is not bad, it's decent..
To do bachelors in Germany, you must have 13 years of study experience, i.e after 12th, you have to spend 1 year in college, either doing diploma or b.tech, or any bachelors course... Or other options is to do IIT Jee advance... Then only you qualify to get admission in bachelors in Germany...
So you can aim to get higher score in 1st year of bachelors study in India, and on basis of that make your profile stronger...
Another thing parallelly you can do is, learn German very serious at achieve C1 level in German, and apply for German language based courses... Any level below C1, won't qualify you for German language based bachelors, so you will have to apply for English language based courses, but they have higher competition... But even for English course if you do like B1 or B2 level German certification from India it increases your admission chance...

Studienkolleg can be tough if you have no knowledge of German, and have weaker base for the subjects which will be thought in Studienkolleg... In such case, better to first learn German at least to B1, and then you can decide what you want... But always better to not waste time, and if you have already finished 12th in India, then start 13th year of education as soon as possible instead of wasting time...
Visa processing time for studienkolleg is very long nowadays... Studienkolleg is also mostly not free, and you also need blocked account for it as well... And then you will also parallelly have to apply for Uni in Germany...
So, it depends on your need and situation...

Class 10th score doesn't matter for aps certification, u must have more then 50% in 12th, so u can get APS certificate, which is must for Visa. But to get admission in good Uni, u need higher score but also a good profile overall.

To get admission in Bachelors, average of your 12th and 1st year of bachelors are used by uni. For bachelors most courses are in German, and few in English to competition is high for English course. But if you can learn B2 and then C1 German, then you have higher chance to get in to Bachelors in Germany for German language based courses.

You can score higher in 1st year of bachelor in India, and 50-50 of both 12th & 1st year bachelor will be considered for admission...
Few uni have cut of for % but most don't, so you will qualify for them, just make your over-all profile strong and prepare application well.. Learning German language is a great booster as well..

GAP can be justified... Mention of JEE attempt, but also show some other use of time, like learning German levels of B1 or so... So selection committee is happy to know that you used you GAP years well...

I am a Student, pursuing my bcom from Jaipur.india and i got 69 percentage in my 12 th standard,i want to pursue my masters from Germany but i am gonnna pursue my cfa exam during my graduation,and because of this exam my grad scores will make significant effect because i will get only 60 to 65 percent so can i get admission in top 15 finance specialised Universities of Germany i will complete my 2 level of cfa till 2026 may ,but my grad will get end by 2025 may so can i get admission with such low percentage in final year of grad but i will devote my time to the cfa exam ,and also will i get admission in gap year

Sure. But you will have to do extensive research using DAAD website, to find eligibility for your case...
Many UNI won't accept 7 yr study gap for MSc course, and many will have issue with your score...
But still I am sure, you can find some public uni, specially public uni from small town, they are usually good or even very good, but because they get less application, they are more open to see person's detailed profile and not reject them based on hard cutoff... You can highlight any MNC experience or MNC client experiences, any good globally known certifications, may be even can get German language level certification because that increase chances a lot...
You can even look for public uni MBA - with SCM subjects, because there your 7 yr work ex won't be seen as negative GAP, but positive experience...

Don't look for digital marketing specific course, no point of learning digital marketing, it keeps on changing very rapidly with time, you have to learn it while working on it... Rather go for generic marketing related course... Which again can be niche of business course... Like MBA or MSc or BSc in business...

% is not the only criteria. For Top 10 type uni it can be close to impossible to get in with low %, but many good uni are in small town and cities which have great education quality and yet are open to student with low %. But overall profile should be strong - student must show special positive aspects in profile like - Research work, Thesis, Certifications, Special skills or projects, work experience, Quality of recommendation letter, Quality of motivation letter, Maturity of candidate, German language certification etc... So in many ways chances can be increased... Many students get in with score around 70%...

I have scored 74.60% in my class 12th and i have cleared my jee mains and i have also given jee advance exams result is yet to be declared. From past few months I am planning to study in Germany and i have enough knowledge about how to do and what to do but the thing is I am scared about will I get admission in public universities with this much score in my 12th grade.
Many students with score in 70s get admitted... You have to try to Uni which are not in top 5 or 10 list, because many great uni are in small cities and towns but have great education quality, whereas competition in few popular unis can be too unfair at times...
So, just make your profile strong, and apply for wide range of uni, 1-2 from top 10, then 2-3 from top 10-30 category, and 1-2 from rest... This is just for example, decide how it works for you....

Many uni select candidate even if they have low % if they have good profile overall.
Is medium of instruction certificate is acceptable as a English proficiency to join the Goethe University?? Cause I've completed bachelors in English medium....
For German language course English certificate may not be needed... Else for English language based course or Hybrid course, you have to show IELTS... But if you can prove last 7 years of education in English medium that IELTS/TOEFL can be by passed...
In many situations, even when university accepts previous education in English as proof of English skills, German embassy still doesn't accept same, and they ask for IELTS/TOEFL separately... This depends on Visa officer...
So if you have time, you can try your luck, in case Visa officer as you to show IELTS/TOEFL, then you will have to give these exams and submit your result for your Visa process to continue further...

Post 1 year in India, you have to start fresh new bachelors in Germany... because to start bachelors they need 13th year of education... But their bachelors are of 3 years only... Basically we study in India in 1st year of bachelors in part of their schooling, so Bachelor start from what Indian 2nd yr starts from...
Best tip will be to start learning German, try to get german langauge levels done, atleast till B1, you have good 12th score, so if you have good 1st yr bachelor score + German certi + Nice sop/motivation letter + nice recommendation letter + may be some certification or extra curricular or volunteer work certification then you may easily get into top uni, if you present your profile well...
Unfortunately, I have shortage of time for now for 1on1 guidance, so I will suggest you to start you research asap. Because the application and Visa processing period are too long in recent years due to post COVID rise in applications...

To increase chance in getting in top public university in Germany... Start learning German after finishing 12th, start some certification in Computer Science or coding or whatever you like, also start your diploma in India while you are learning German and applying to universities in Germany... Because if you complete 1st year in India, your year won't be wasted, and it will even if counted as 13th year of study, which is needed for many bachelors program in Germany...

77% is not very bad, so possible, but you must present yourself & your profile in Strong way. For mbbs you may need fluent German and may need to crack separate entrance as needed..

Hoskta hai next year... Every year there are 2 intake, summer and winter, so if not summer, then definitely winter is very much possible...
Your score is on lower side, you increase your chance by doing German language levels like - try to archive B1 level certificate even for English based courses... For German based courses, competition in good uni is very low, but you need C1 level German for that...
Gain work experience in meanwhile be it 6 months or 1 yr, start working, because work is very positive, and also get reference letter from your manager or boss which can even add more value to your profile... 2nd recommendation letter can be from your professor...
IELTS exam is needed for most uni, and Visa purpose, so you can parallelly work on that as well...

My university in germany asking 6 band score in ielts academic however, unlike canada or usa universities its not specifying individual skill score on the otherhand, i have overall score of 6 with 5 band in writing do i get rejected if i apply for university
For uni it may be fine, but for visa they usually expect 6.5 band mostly. Or you have to show high German language skills to balance.

For MBA most good institutes need atleast 3+ years of experience... Also in Germany there is no placement culture, and your post MBA job will be based on your previous work experience...
You can do MSc in finance/accounts without any experience if that is also considerable option for you...
Also you will have to check with different uni's requirment to see if 3 year Bachelor is accepted by them, or else they will give you options of taking few extra subjects to complete the needed ECTS...

Yes there are, but you will need to make your profile much stronger, so uni have some reason to pick you over some else with higher GPA. Things like Certification, hackathon, side project, work experience, even volunteer work certification, amazing SOP, can help.

In order to get admission in good public university, I think you must go German C1 level certification from India, plus start your diploma or bachelors in India in meanwhile... Then you can continue your bachelors in Germany... Pick a field which is growing in Germany and you are also passionate about... Try to get higher marks in first year of your diploma or bachelors in India, you can even start bachelors in Germany after finishing your 1st year of college studies in India...

In case of English tough program, even if Uni will accept you without IELTS, you will most probably need IELTS for Visa as embassy mostly ask for it...
Without IELTS visa is possible sometimes - but Visa officer need to ensure good quality of English of candidates -
This is possible via -
- Face to face interview in case of Bachelors... (sometimes telephonic interviews are also done)
- Good English score in 12th class or bachelors...
- Good score in bachelors overall if the medium of study was English...
But even after these Visa officer if not convinced may ask for IELTS separately...
So you always have option to give IELTS before appearing for Visa if you think there are high chance in your case that you won't be asked for IELTS, or to give IELTS before appearing for Visa instead, specially if you are on tight timeline and cannot afford to delay your Visa processing by 2-3 weeks...

But very few cities (depends on local Visa office) ask for having blocked account, even for 2nd year... In such case, student can earn by doing student jobs in 1st year, and save some amount in Germany to transfer to blocked account for 2nd year, and manage rest money from parents/family. And then they can pay it back by doing student jobs in 2nd year...

Learn German - Do German C1 certification, while parallelly doing some diploma in your field of interest, Get selection into German language course... That's your best bet for a top public university... What were you doing in your GAP time? Justify it well, why you have GAP, what productive have you done in that time...
Also, engineering is not easy, you will have to make your base of physicals math strong...

Yes, to get admission in most of the private uni you mainly need money, rest is secondary...
That aside, since you have work ex, you can use it as your advantage... Try to get work ex from MNC company, which is well-known brand even in Germany, then your past low score will be of lower relevance, and you can support low score by giving some temporary reason for lack of focus on studies... So your overall profile can still look strong and appealing based on your recent achievements, which actually matter more than long past...
Learning German levels like A2 and above is also a very nice trick to make profile stronger...
Then you can even aim for some public uni which do not have hard cut off based on past scores...

It's doesn't matter private or public school students in India. 80% or above in cbse is good, you can give some good reason for why you were not able to focus on study for previous year. Like health issues or family issues, don't give any reason like you were not serious or similar... They will see you as good candidate..
Plus it will be ever better if you start learning german...

Is it possible to get admission in masters with 58% in bachelor in English taught courses. After bachelors i an doing a certification in data analytics. IELTS 7.5
58% is on low side... you will have to balance your low marks with certification, it's good that you are doing data analytics certi, but work a bit more on your profile.. like German A2 or B1 certi, even for English course...
You can attemp applying to 1 or 2 uni initially, but parallely also may be get 1 year work experience atleast, then have nice recommendation letter...
Also some uni have hard % cutoff for selection, so you won't qualify for such uni, but for rest you can...
