My trike is built not bought , 1600 dual port 4 speed with a chopper front end . It's waaaaaay more comfortable than any manufacturer trike I've ever test drove .
I am sure a custom built Trike can be more comfortable. You are building it form the get go for you and what you want. Glad you were able to build a bike that is comfortable for you!

Ordered Nexgen shocks along with lift kit in December for my 2022 tri glide. Installed them about 10 days ago and haven't been able to ride until few days ago. Road 120 miles today and am VERY PLEASED with the ride AND the difference in handling. Had small issue with install, called and the young lady put me in touch with Dwayne. He helped me out and was able to solve the problem. They both were super nice and helpful. Also ordered 1 1/2 inch tank lift with wings. Waiting for some warmer weather to install just to measure before and after temps. Have external breather and Trask air cleaner on already. You guys are great and have fantastic mods for our "investments". Keep up the good work and thanks to Dwayne again for his time and courtesy. Stay safe! 15:40

You forgot a important upgrade for the rear axle retaining plate. Mine was working some at 15,000 miles. I do have all but one of your upgrades listed.
Yes, that is a really good upgrade, and one that is high on my personal priority list....just was not one of the top ten most popular.

I bought the floorboard spacer. what a difference. I also got the adjustable passenger pegs. the tank lift kit and the fueling sump plug. Next I need the external breather system but I don't want the stock filter box. I also am going to get the oil cooling system. Your products are great. I have a 2021 Tri Glide Ultra.
I am glad that you are well pleased with all the products you have bought. Moving those floorboards out does make a huge difference in comfort and felt heat!
All of our Air Cleaners are made for External Breather Systems. Of course some other Air Cleaners can be modified to work with an EBS as well, but if you are interested in getting a new Air Cleaner you can see all the ones we offer for your 2021 Triglide at this link;

I have 8 of the mods in this list, next will be the oil cooler. Items I have are the tank lift 1.5 with deluxe, External breather with the transformer, 828, deflector wings, floor board ext, tourpak relocation, Comfort lift. I also picked up the race ramps for my toy hauler because of your video and often refer back to that video for loading. Keep up the great work all!!!

@@DKCustomProducts To be honest I have seen some temp drop, but not what I was hoping for. I live in Northern Ca and last summer on a ride in 110+/- temp I was seeing my bike running about 290 to 300 but figured it was that high because of the temp that day. I am hoping the oil cooler will drop the temp extremely on hot days here.
What bike do you have? I am certain the oil cooler will help some more as well. MB
Kevin, what are your thoughts on trke conversion kits?
There are some really nice looking conversion kits out there.

Here are some pro's and con's that come to mind:
PROS-
If you already have a bike you like, that has a low cost basis, then you could save money over buying a factory Trike
Can get a better look, and possibly more storage
Better chance at having a "one of a kind" ride
With an IRS conversion, it is possible (with the right shocks) to get a plusher ride in daily riding
Increased rake for easier steering
CONS-
In most cases the cost will be similar to a factory Trike, once everything is added up
Most places will not work on them
In aggressive (spirited) riding in the curves they do not handle as well as the HD Factory Trikes
Voids factory & ESP warranty
Most of the time it makes the heat challenges HD engines face, worse
I am sure there are some pros and cons I have not listed...the above is what came directly to mind when reading your question.
One other thing....the above is for Touring comparisons.
If one had a Sportster (which does not have the heat challenges of the Twin Cam and M8), and one wanted to do a budget build....that can work out very nicely.

thank you for taking the time to respond: how does the trike conversion cause heat challenges? I currenlty have the tank lift kit and the oil relocation kit from DK Cutoms along with the your air filter and stage 1 and that has made huge improvements.

Many conversions are heavier, increasing load on the engine. Many conversions are larger, creating more wind resistance, thus a larger load on the engine. 👍 KP

How about a real video to install floor board extensions on a Tri Glide! Please? I found a video on UA-cam. Not that great. lol It didn't mention how hard for a women to remove the bolts! But....I got them off. I'm pleased with my purchase, and they fit great. Riding comfort was a plus. Thanks DK Customs.😘

The best thing about trikes is. they took the image away from Electra Glides as old man bikes. Trikes are the new " Geezer Glides!" Is there an option for a walker holder? 😊

Nice awesome videos guys..I got a ?..I had a 2014 triglide w/103..traded it in for a 2017 road glide...Had the road glide for up till 2022,sold it due to my knees,getting old due to job!! Now iam ready to buy another HD 3-WHEELER 2023 or 2024..My ? is to you guys,what trike would you suggest that I get with 2 up riding all the time,wanna travel around the US, whiich trike would be the best for stage 2 or possibly stage 3 due to me being 6'4" 325 lbs and my girlfriend 5'7" 135 lbs plus all luggage for our trips!! Also which trike would be better for alot of your DK CUSTOMS PRODUCTS from this 2023 video here that iam watching..😁🤔👍😂
here are no differences between the 23 and 24 MY, other than the colors.
Our only recommendation is if you get a used 2023 have a leak-down test done on it first. Video on that below.

Just give more reasons to get a Gold Wing and convert it to a trike.
Different strokes for different folks.
Goldwing expense, conversion expense, no warranty, very few places willing to service, and the Goldwing Trikes I've seen have a bunch of mods done to them too. KP

@@massimofeliciani6591Yep and Harley is only a name anymore. My very first Harley was a 48 Pan and I love it, but now Harley is just another manufacturer that is trying to sell a motorcycle, then you need to keep upgrading.
@@DKCustomProducts Keep working on my Harley just because I have to, but when you convert any bike, the dealer don't want to work on it. If it's still under warranty they may work on the bike but that's to be seen. So only a few companies make three wheel motorcycles, so if you want to go fast buy a Boss Hog.
