I pick up Alexandre pottery made in Belgium,it's gorgeous very heavy large turquoise pitcher...paid $10 ...
What the best way to ship it & safest I'M a little nervous...I consider not purchasing because of the weight...but did.
Good question to ask during my next Ask Dr. Lori LIVE video so I can answer in detail and teach everyone watching.
Archer is adorable! 🐶Thank you for sharing the bohemian glass and jewelry finds. Great to see that people are doing well at online auctions and estate sales. I am a beginner at both. :) It's been fun, a learning lesson, and now I am ready to be more thoughtful in my approach and purchases. There are so many beautiful items out there!
Shoot! Did I miss it?
What a beautiful necklace!
Lucky Lady!
Turquoise necklace is Gorgeous 😻.
Hi Dr. Lori…It’s Cindy your “poet” here 😊
Thank you for featuring my fantastic turquoise necklace and the evaluation you gave for it, but, more importantly, all the information and tips you give are invaluable!! Thank you! 🎉
seems like a baby sled or floatie
love it!
She walked through the snow and it was up too here! As older fans we've heard these stories from our grandma's and grandpa's for years. Lol
Thank you Dr. Lori
Hope your Thanksgiving was just splendid.
Blessings
Gosh, you'd never find such items going for so low at auctions in Canada. People are bidding a fortune on Indigenous items, silver, and gold jewellery.
Great video Dr. Lori with some great pieces. 🤗
There is no way to make Everyone happy. I like your online appraisals. Its super cool when I see an object similar to one I have.
I too have collected since I was a kid.
Thank you for your knowledge & keep being you😎
Good selection of objects to try to learn from! 👍👍💙💙
Darn it missed again.
Hi Dr Lori
That turquoise piece is gorgeous
I don’t care for toggle claps either !
I like my jewelry to feel secure preferably lobster claps 😊
Great video
Thank you
I found a bracelet marked 925 but it is slightly magnetic. Do jewelers sometimes do silver plating? Or is it fake?

@@DrLoriV thank you. ❤️ I will try. I’m often teaching during the live sessions, so I usually catch them after the fact. But there might be a time in the future when I can chime in.
Thanks Dr. Lori, I learn so much from you! Stacy from Peculiar, Missouri😊
Little treasure hunters need Dr. Lori shirts!! Hope you get youth sizes 💜🙌💜
Bohemian and Florentine glass look the same to me! Which can be mistaken for tre fuochi by us beginners.
Hi Dr. Lori! Question: In terms of vintage and antique beaded jewelry, sometimes the stringing is not in the best shape, broken or unravelling, etc., but I am nervous to restring. If I completely duplicate the necklace, using all of the components exactly as they were originally, but just redo the string, knotting, etc., and if it the finished product completely duplicates the original, just newly refurbished but using the same stringing technique, will that reduce the value because it is not completely original, meaning not as originally created? I would rather restring before selling, but I'm not sure if that is a good idea. FYI, I am very competent in refurbishing/repairing, if that helps to know. I don't want to ruin the provenance, or reduce the value, but I do want to honor the history of the piece, and give it a chance to be worn again, or at least let the new wearer feel confident that their piece will not break... Thanks for any help you can give!

@DrLoriV I am so inspired by what you do, you really STAND OUT amongst everyone in your field today, i have to say i am sure that 98% of the appraisers out there are SCANDALOUS! I've NEVER come across an appraiser who did NOT collect and lie. They all are not transparent like you are. You truly are an admirable human being spreading the correct accurate honest information you have gained throughout your amazing career and many decades of experience. We are really lucky to have you in this industry. I just love your personality and a huge thank you for sharing your knowledge with all of us, it's greatly appreciated!!!❤
