- A huge thanks to Lee Yikyung for accepting the request to do Just Interview:)
I brought up the interview carefully, but he said he'd do it in 0.1 seconds.
So I was really touched.
On the interview day, he had a bad cold, so I told him it'd be okay to do it some other time.
But he said he didn't wanna cause trouble since it was a promise with many people... so sweet
He's so popular nowadays haha
As a joke, when I went 'Ohhh~~,' he'd say no and act all modest.
I learned a lot from him as I interviewed him.
The day before the interview, he called me
and asked me how he should do the interview in detail.
Seeing that, I thought he was a real pro. He didn't become the person he is now all of a sudden.
He worked really hard for it. He's such a great guy as I get to know him more.

심괴가 여러가지로 용에게 힐링되는 프로그램이었네요. 바쁜데도 잘 준비해서 목요일마다 솔라데이 만들어줘서 고마워요.
I love how Solar is slowly getting to know more and to befriend more friends in the acting industry. It reminds me of the time in Gamsung Camping where Solar chatted with Sodam about how she was only able to interact with people in the music industries and she admired Sodam for being able to meet people from other realms.
I'm so proud of Solar now that she had acting as a musical star and being able to meet so many more people.

용선언니가 하는 모든 일에는 팬들은 다 확신을 갖고 있기 때문에 그 믿음으로 두려워 하지말고 자신있게 언니가 하고싶은대로 하는게 같이 기뻐하는 일 같아요! 일로 만난 출연자들이지만 개인적으로도 편해보여서 보기 좋아요ㅎㅎ

Really comfortable yet serious conversation between the two, Solar did a great job highlighting his serious side instead of the comedic side that most people know him for. You can really see he's wiser than I thought too

One of the most gratifying things is seeing how rewarding this year has been for Solar-nim in terms of friendships born out of her work. It is so heartwarming to hear someone speak so unreservedly about how good she is as a person beyond the artist, and to see her feel comfortable and be her charming self with both her program and musical colleagues. 그냥 인터뷰너무 좋아요! 일부러 분위기를 띄우려고 하지 않아도 자연스럽고 편안하게 게스트에 대한 매력을 알려주고 또 재밌고ㅜㅜㅜ 항상 말하지만 저는 그냥인터뷰 호스트로서의 용선언니의 차분한면을 너무 사랑해요ㅜㅜㅜㅜ 물론 본업하는 면을 제일 사랑함! 사실 안사랑하는부분없음ㅋㅋㅋ

인생 더 산 사람으로서 오랜시간 여러 가수들을 많이 봐왔는데 솔라님처럼 팝, 뮤지컬, 케이팝, 악기연주까지 다 잘 하는 분들 수십년 전후 통틀어 많이 없다고 생각합니다. 본업을 잘하고 열심히 하시기도 하고요. 솔라님 정말 멋있는 가수니까 자신감을 가지세요.

The idea of Yongsun, Yikyung, and Jaesuk in one variety show together tho, that'd be so much fun to watch. Someone needs to make this happen!!
Solar makes it so comfortable for her guests and it makes it so much better to watch than so many other interview shows! And of course she will be able to keep singing moomoos will support her forever!
I do feel like the actor Lee Yikyung does care and has an interest to know more about our Solar as a real person (not as the public idol image). Maybe that's why he recommended the interview location in a casual 'drinking, eating and chatting' environment. He asked about her concerns, cared about the Solar's alcohol level and taste, brought presents, etc. At a point, when Solar asked the 1st question based on her curiosity (not from the cue card), he even joked that it was from the viewer's curiosity, not hers. And I am strongly impressed by what he said at the end of this interview that he wanted her fans/Yongwangs to make a good day for Solar. He even did not mention a word to ask for support for his future plans, but instead, he called the support for Solar lol. He did care about Solar, as a friend or any other roles that we might not know. I can feel the insane comfort level between them (Solar even didn't use honorifics sometimes as '거짓말 ', not touch nor turn away the elbow when toasting the drink), not bickering as her close friend Changsub, not shy, but still a bit awkward, not as with her Mamamoo members (ofc). Lee Yikyung really respects and adores our Solar.

Even though some of the questions are ones we might hear on other interview programs, there is a frankness and genuine curiosity about the way Solar-nim asks them that sparks an interesting and comfortable conversation, at the energy level and in the style that suits the interviewee. Ah, Just Interview, it's been a while!! Something I really love about this segment is how comfortable Solar makes her guests feel and bring out a different side of them than we usually get to see. She always prepares well for the interview. I came into the video expecting this'll be highly chaotic but I love that we got to see Yikyung's more serious and thoughtful side, but in the same way, we can also still see how naturally funny he is. Also, his suggestion of doing the interview while eating and drinking is really nice. Yongsun eating is always a pleasure to see ^^

i think this is my favourite just interview to date, it really showed realistic sides of solar and yikyung that we dont often get to see on variety or when solar is acting her role as leader in mamamoo. i really appreciate all the effort that solar is putting into her videos and unnie we enjoy your videos a lot! so dont worry too much about new ideas for your videos because even if its just you staring at the camera for an hour straight ill watch it anyway HAHA
Wow, I didn't know Lee Yi-Kyung is such a bright and considerate person, especially knowing him to save the drunk guy and asking police to not realise info about him. It is nice to see our YongSun, who is also very positive and bright to interview him.

I know little that other people say can truly settle one's worries, but I thought I'd try. Solar-nim, as long as what makes you feel fulfilled and happy is being a singer, as long as you choose to use your beautiful voice to sing, and as long as us fans are around, you can be a singer for as long as you want.

I love this series so much because we get to see new ppl and they get to share their stories. Also they give their perspective on Solar & Solarsido. One of the things that I really like about this series is how Solar makes the guests so comfortable and relax during the interviews, silly jokes, laugh & casual talks....she really keep the vibe chill. I hope she continues this series in the future. We love you Yongsun!
우리나라는 취객 같은 사람을 도와주기가 참 힘든게 정당방위를 받기가 힘들어서 취객이 난동부려 놓고는 자기를 밀쳤다느니 하면 쌍방폭행으로 들어가니까..무슨 일을 당할지 모르니 선뜻 나서기 힘든 건데 앞뒤 재지 않고 도와주는 건 이경씨가 대단한 거죠.

매주 영상을 업로드하는게 쉽겠습니까...채널이 오래되기도해서 할 만 한 건 다 했다고 봐도 과언이 아니죠. 그래서 안해본 이것저것을 찾아 하다보니 길을 헤매는것 처럼 보인다고 생각해요. 컨텐츠 다양성뿐만 아니라 카메라와의 거리, 제작진과의 케미, 영상의 전체적인 텐션 등 다 다르게 해보면서 용선님과 어울리는 새로운 채널 방향성을 잡아가면 좋겠습니다.
추가로 개인적인 의견을 내자면 가끔 썸네일이 아주 살짝 진부한 느낌..?을 받았습니다. 솔시채널 자체가 오래 됐기 때문에 용님의 과도한 표정이나 어그로성 문구는 이제 궁금증을 만들어내기 어렵다고 봅니다. 오히려 담백하게 만들면 어떨까 하는 개인적인 생각입니다.

Really liked the way he talked about Solar! It’s good for her to hear the praises she deserves. Also, I didn’t know Solar unnie was worried about her singing? :( Girl, repeating Hwasa’s words: YOU ARE MATA HARI!! After that, you have more than prove yourself 💚 And lastly, it was interesting the way he was serious and honest, like the way people treated him and even his manager differently for being in a variety show. Interesting insight in the industry
I only know him through Midnight Horror Story, but I really like the way he thinks and the way he treats Solar. Cool guy
