A favorite of mine back in the day. A show that had Devo, Steve Sax, Father Guido Sarducci, John Densmore, the Waitresses, Tony Dow, and Bill Murray…now that’s 80s! Muffy- 🤪
A PG rated version of Fast Times at Ridgemont High…that’s how I always described it. 👏👏👏. Although there were no sex and drugs in the content….those things are what it is reportedly what got it canned. A cult classic
This is a favorite show from the era with three interesting actresses; I enjoyed in other shows and movies. Jami Gertz was great in "The Lost Boys," while Sarah Jessica Parker was in several excellent films, the Blonde Witch routine was great and funny.
I always loved Square Pegs. I felt Sarah Jessica Parker was well-deserving of her later fame. I thought Tracy Nelson was great and she, like, had her own later fame,y' know.:-)
I had nostalgia for the show because it featured my Gen X California valley culture generation and sub culture with new wave music, the valley dialect etc. but rewatching some episodes recently I realize that the episodes aren't that funny, they are cute and bring back some nice memories but so different than more recent works like The Office and Arrested Development that had lots of laughs and no laugh track.

1982 this was a favorite in our home 🏘️
Always liked this one. Wish it had a longer run.
I would love to see that crew all the way through high school

classic show. great retrospective. johnny slash should be on t-shirts.
I loved this show. The USA Network ran reruns of the show in the later part of the 1980's, I
think around 1987,or 1988.
Oh man, i dont remember that
@@ralpheichenlaub7004 Sadly they didn't
keep the show on air that long due to not
enough episodes.
I loved this show when I was in Highschool- I was a square peg and always loved Sara Jessica Parker.

Great video Ralph 👍
Thank you so much for watching
I loved this show growing up 😌👌💯
I remember this as a kid (10 at the time). It was almost like this was a PG/made for tv version of “Fast Times at Ridgemont High”.
Very much so. It had the look of a drama though
@@ralpheichenlaub7004Jonathan Wolfe had a part in one of the episodes. He told me
