THANK YOU, I've watched a few videos on this subject and they all left out critical information. You on the other hand are totally comprehesible.
Thank you. I tried my best
Hell yeh this was exactly what I needed
Great video👍 very simple and step by step helped me alot to not forget anything thanks man👍
No problem. Glad to help
Doing mine right now, Awesome Job showing how you did it!! Helped me out a lot!
Great to hear that . Glad I can help
Thank for the video. I'm was all mess up with the bearing order and can't put it back...
Great video 📹
You should have showed us how you took out that pin !!!!
You just get a bolt that’s smaller than the hole and begin tapping on it. It comes out fairly easy
@@jaredsanger5620 yup this sucks
Thanks for video!!! Life saver
Great seeing more DIY videos out there
Man, this is the exact video I was looking for, where did you get your axle from? Thank you for this.
Glad it helped I bought it on eBay
What type of fluid do you use?
That was a really good video man!!
Thanks
Great video bud! Thank you! Question though, do I absolutely NEED the glass of orange juice?
It’s your preference for what to drink
InstaBlaster
Having a tough time removing the pin to remove from differential, did you run into same issue? Any tips?
No . Just find a bolt alittle smaller than the hole on the axel. Slowly tap the pi out so that you don’t break anything
Hey what are the torque specs and what kind of fluid did you use?
I really don’t remember the torque specs I was going off the manual and I used hub oil from Polaris
Im really screwed. I was changing the a arm bushings on my 99 scrambler 500 4x4 and noticed the cv shaft poped out and was just in the boot with 3 balls. Gigiddy! Anyways i took off the hub and reorganized all the balls. Now im going through hell to get the shaft back in. If i slide the shaft in to hub first then i cant get the splines through that big hole. If i put the splines berings and clutch thing through first then i cant get the shaft in. I even took off the shock. Managed to get everything in that way but now the dam shock wont go in to place. Im to broke to go to a mechanic if not i would’ve had a way better machine please help
Have you lifted the machine by the frame to get the shock to decompress and it might go in
How'd you get that pin out
You can get a rod that’s alittle smaller and use a hammer to hit it out or I used a Fillip’s screwdriver to hit it out
What kind of fluid is needed?
Polaris demand drive fluid
why are you replacing it?
I’m replacing it cause the other side went bad and I decided to buy both front axles and replace them instead of one
Where did u buy the axle?
I bought the axel on eBay
What is the part number for new pin?
7661913
I don't think you put the last bearing in before that washer😲
What kind of fluid?
I used oem fluid from Polaris
ATF
Demand drive fluid, do NOT use atf if you want your 4 wheel drive to work
Just replaced mine and now it acts like it’s trying to pull that way or like it’s binding up. Anyone had a similar problem?
That can happen if the axel was shorter than the original one
just tap out the pin yeah ok
Mine tapped out with a punch
Went to do this then realized my strut housing was fuckkkkeddddd
Dang that really sucks
