Thank you very much! The team did a fantastic job and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for Ember Lab 🧡 I wouldn't mind seeing you guys tackle the world of Jak & Daxter, just saying 😉
Good work on the vid. Glad you celebrate the influences instead of using them as a downside for creativity. I have seen a lot of argument about this game and many others borrowing too much from classics. But that's just how games or any media is. Games take inspiration from genre defining titles and we should appreciate that. In the end it's hard to find any modern game that's "original" so I'm glad kena takes its influences and is proud of it.
Well said! And Kena doesn't shy away about that at all. Of course, I don't want every single game to feel like games from the past, but I think there's a nice balance to be found with "familiar" and "innovation".
Nailed it, you summed up really well what I liked about this game. It takes the right lessons from older games to create something really beautiful and engaging.
I hope we win this revolution as soon as possible so that I can enjoy all these amazing games on my PS5. Thanks for keeping me in the loop, brother. I will keep watching your contents as long as I am alive.
@@MichaelFromTheAttic The attention to detail is so great. Have you tried the photo mode? It's just beautiful how the characters react to the camera and pose for photos
This video doesn't seem to be doing to well, but I just wanted to let you know that the little community around this channel appreciates your videos and that if you keep making great content like this the channel is bound to blow up one day 👍🏻
It's a really good game, but "not even a full price" it's not true. Still costs 50$, from 10$ difference from a full price. That translate to alot to countries where the currency are really low related to US dolar. Brazilian here, US dollar its more than five times my country currency! :/
Yeah I understand that. I'm from Canada and a full price release is almost 100$ with taxes and all 😬 Kena is around 55$ though, so for me the difference was huge.
Thank you for the review! 🧡

Kena is indeed a homage to all that came before and incredibly beautiful

Thanks a lot Mark :) A great game indeed!
This is the best Kena review on youtube. Congratulations! You captured my thoughts I had while playing.
Thanks Mihai! That really means a lot :)

Really appreciate it 🙏 Thanks for watching!
Thanks for this video, but mostly, for reminding me of Tak 2!
Glad I'm not the only one who remembers this gem 😅
Great video yet again!
❤
The video was just amazing. Really good job. I fully agree with you. I can't believe either that kena wasn't developed by one of the big studios
Thanks a lot :) Glad you enjoyed it, I've put in a lot of work. And yes, I still don't understand how they pulled off this game haha!

@@LikeRandomMemes Yes and I absolutely love it! Like you said, the attention to detail is really impressive
Tell me, what is your favorite game from your childhood? :)
I loved platformers as a kid. Psychonauts 1 as a kid blew me away.
@@sanskarmishra5309 Yes, Psychonauts 1 was an absolute gem! I actually forgot to mention it in my video.
