What a video! Fantastic as always! Also can't thank you enough for "scratching" this "itch" of mine with your choice of song. "Teacher's pet" is literally one of the anthems of student/teacher pairings, but I have never been able to imagine it fitting any of this kind of otp. It have been driving me insane. I couldn't put it to work even if my life dependent on it. But you managed to do it so, SO well! Love the coloring (or a lack thereof?) and how it matches Snape's aesthetic, this rather dark theme of lyrics and this kind of relationships in general (hopefully I'm not reading too much into it). Black-and-white also makes colored text on the screen look so cool, I love it. You did an amazing job. Thank you!
Also love the subtle narrative that gives viewers a general understanding of what the story is about. Reading the description is not needed at all, which only proves how good you are at visual storytelling (although I'm not an expert, only an amateur at best). I feel like this subtlety serves you a favor as a storyteller since it lets viewer's imagination (the most powerful force there is) to fill in the gaps, which makes a perfect and satisfying story no matter who the viewer is. What a fine work indeed!
OH MY GOD!!! YOU GOT ME LISTENING TO TEACHER'S PET!!! I LOVE IT!!! AND I LOVE THIS TOO!!! I love Melanie Martinez and her songs, now I think this one might be my fave. It's dark, romantic, and tragic all at once. And this song pretty much fits this ship. I wasn't crazy about Snamione before but now it's definitely one of my ships. Though in my heart, nothing can beat Dramione bc Dramione is my number 1 favorite ship. But Snamione here earns my silver metal on Hermione's ships. Though of course, when writing fanfics about them, I would have the Snamione with Snape x Adult!Hermione because it would seem more appropriate to me if they were both adults. But I *can* still imagine Hermione and Snape calling each other "Professor Snape" and "Miss Granger" even after school. Your videos have had me at a pleasant surprise about the Snamione trope in the best way possible, in other words: I FREAKING LOVE IT! That wasn't the only thing that got me obsessed with it, but it was definitely the first thing. Here's what pretty much got me addicted the Snamione trope: 1. Watching these videos won me over in a heartbeat 2. I actually have another friend that does ship these two and she told me a couple of stories as well. 3. Seeing the fanfics/fanart for myself. 4. Even pretty much the fanfic I was requested to write I got obsessed with, remember when I mentioned I had one called Ensnared But Secured? 😏🖤❤ But Siriusly though, I truly loved this video. I felt so bad for Hermione and Snape when Dumbledore forced them to end their relationship (Geez Dumblerore, is *that* why you told Snape to kill ya? No I'm just kidding lmfaoo). Hermione Granger, I just want you to know, Severus Snape didn't want to do what he had to, Dumbledore made him to so, if Snape had been Headmaster and in control of Hogwarts, he would've sold his soul just to spend another day with you. He loves you. Always. 💞💞💞
