These two occurrences happened recently when playing 2v2 competitive matches with a friend: 1. We got paired up with two people were evidently smurfing. We actually kept the game surprisingly close. But after the other two opponents scored, they forfeited the match almost immediately and proclaimed: "You guys need the win more." I think they just got scared they might lose against us. 2. Another 2v2 against players who were so clearly smurfing (and they didn't hide it). At the start of the game, we got 2 goals quickly. But after doing so one of our opponents says: "want us to start trying now?" and they start doing GC moves and scoring. Then they went on to talk about how demons were rising out of them or whatever bullshit and other stuff I can't say. My friend and I lost, but I could've cared less after experiencing this toxic situation.
Should have done a twist in the end where they have been given a text chat and they have 4 clips to choose between to figure out where it fits/came from. Also another thing you could try is having a replay, one text chat and they guess, who said it in that match, they get to see every angle they wish from the replay.
Love the idea of this video, totally fun. I would say a little fast dialogues and if you could cover more content in a small length, would be much better imo.

Streamers should also address when toxic goes to hate and is meant to be harmful, and that little is done about this.. there are some bad apples out there spewing raw hatred that deserve a legit time out / ban
Once in ranked 3s 1 of my tm8s was being toxic about 10seconds in just talking shit in the chat after every 50/50 etc i ignored it at first then after a while he didnt stop so i dropped a 'Wow!' And he started scoring own goals🤦♂️
On the first one it was A because it said "WOODY, You do not deserve this rank " when who else would it be so it is obviously that because it said his name in the options and A was the only option that mentioned his name so their is my document on how A is right on the first one 😆😅
You're supposed to assume that I would change any names in all the chats to match the clip. For example #4 one of the options was "let me and JUSTIN carry" (Justin being one of the people in the match) Yet that was not the answer. So not really a clue, though it did seem to work out that way.
Im only 12 and im in champ but the toxicity sometimes is REAL. I don't usually get mad when people are toxic but as a 12 year old sometimes I can't hold in my anger. I do find it funny sometimes how people don't even think twice about spamming What a save! I honestly can't even bring myself to saying it because if karma hits...💀💀
Even more important than mechanics and game sense is the mental game. It’s your job not to let the toxicity get you mad, because the anger only makes it harder to win. I always just mute toxic players or type a :D in chat and keep playing. Hang in there little bro you’ve got a lot of improvement ahead of you keep it up 👍
I had a guy in gold rank, have an auto chat or some shit, it went off every 5 seconds all he said was no problem that was it and it would auto go off, I had to ff because there was no way my brain it was too loud

I'll admit I find it very toxic to go for tons of demos, play 2 ranks higher than your current rank while teamed (ex Champ 2 in Diamond 2) I will also get very angry if other players don't know what they are doing.
I’ll get banned for 3 months if I get another one, so I don’t chat anymore. Fyi: before free to play there was a couple months where you could get reported and banned and it wouldn’t tell you why. Only one of my bans do I understand, cuz it was warranted. Gone are the days where I could say “fuck my mom” and confuse the whole lobby.
3:42 Break, It wasn't his fault tho. His tm8 should be in goal way before they were. He made a touch away, and as the opponent had made a poor return shot, Josh could have even positioned upfield for the pass, but his tm8 wasn't even covering net! Really slow rotation in to goal from the kickoff
Also he jumped to cover the shot, his job now that he has jumped is just to make sure to get a touch, can't expect a much better clear at that level, his tm8 should have been there.
@@Rocket_Sledge knew I'd get a response like this, but the reality is that this wouldn't be Josh's fault in a high level lobby. The fact he made the touch like that would be his fault, but the returning shot being a poor one passes the blame to the tm8 who didn't rotate in fast enough to cover the 5 kph shot!
