literally working on this right now. As a taller person it's a little harder to do (IMO) with a higher center of gravity...we are just further from the ground and tend to not use the ground as well. Then you have to transition from the concept of TURNING vs swinging the club. The club is just secondary to the turn. That's the lightbulb moment once you feel that. Everyone wants to start the downswing with the club. I've only done that for like 30 years. lol!
@@jchowngolf All your content is good, if you can understand root cause makes thing a little easier to fix. I rotate and compress the ball maybe 40% of the time, the rest are stalled, flicks. I would say I cross the line, working on keeping the right elbow snug against my chest on the backswing. On the range it’s fine, taking into a game will take a little muscle memory. It’s good to know that fault is the probably causing the stalling, that and getting lazy. Dave (10) handicap. Keep up the great content you will soon be hitting some good numbers. Danny Maude didn’t have too many subscribers a few years back. I rate him too.
You're videos are great Jonathan. I have hip osteoarthritis in my lead hip so it hurts to post over it. Any suggestions on how to create a powerful swing without a huge hip turn like every other golf video on youtube advocates for? Would love to see a video about swing adjustments with mobility issues. Keep up the great work.

Great tips .. thanks !!
Thaks Jonathan. I'm across the line on the back swing. Maybe I need to hinge my wrists?

Jim Ventos gold swing.
I sometimes wonder if my brain is incapable of turning through the ball
All about getting the right positions, then learning to turn 👍🏼
😁👍
Thanks bud
None of those swings looked very slow to me.
Like I said in the video relating to my tempo vs Ernie els, it’s a feel.
Very useful video but too long.
Better if you had splitted it in two parts...
