The Jews today have no Temple, no sacrifice. There is no forgiveness of sin without the shedding of blood. They need to accept the Messiah's holy Sacrifice.
Also no priesthood. The genealogy of the Levites was burned at the destruction of the temple. Christianity gave them the Torah, via Alexandria, which they had lost. This offered them the possibility of affirming that Jesus is the Messiah and, there-by, the possibility of conversion and finding salvation. Most prefer the satanic verses of the talmud.
@@thomasmooney5653 Levites weren't priests. Jewish priests have the last name "Cohen." That's how they've maintained their pedigree in case theTemple is ever rebuilt. But they offer no holocausts.
It's not just corrupt clergy who mislead - people need reminded they really can't be sure of who is commenting or what they post, if they don't know their Faith. There are some who deliberately instigate quarrels. Thank you Father.
Wasnt there an important event about Elijah seeing a cloud in s shape of a foot coming down in the distant horizon, an answer to a prayer asking for help in fighting an enemy? I remember reading about this and this foot is said to have been Mary, who will crush the head of the serpent. And this came about the Sons of Elijah who in turn is the history of the Carmelites. I think that is a very important event. Thank you Fr. I learned about Elijah in a nutshell. God's peace be with you. 🙏
Moses is the greatest Old testament prophet. "There has never been a prophet in Israel like Moses; the Lord spoke with him face-to-face. No other prophet has ever done miracles and wonders like those that the Lord sent Moses to perform against the king of Egypt, his officials, and the entire country. No other prophet has been able to do the great and terrifying things that Moses did in the sight of all Israel." (Deut 34: 10-12)
Elijah (Hebrew: אֵלִיָּהוּ, ʾĒlīyyāhū, meaning "My God is Yahweh/YHWH"; Greek form: Elias) was, according to the Books of Kings in the Hebrew Bible, a prophet and a miracle worker who lived in the northern kingdom of Israel during the reign of King Ahab (9th century BCE). In 1 Kings 18, Elijah defended the worship of the Hebrew God over that of the Canaanite deity Baal. God also performed many miracles through Elijah, including resurrection, bringing fire down from the sky, and entering heaven alive "by fire". He is also portrayed as leading a school of prophets known as "the sons of the prophets". Following his ascension, Elisha, his disciple and most devoted assistant, took over his role as leader of this school. The Book of Malachi prophesies Elijah's return "before the coming of the great and terrible day of the LORD", making him a harbinger of the Messiah and of the eschaton in various faiths that revere the Hebrew Bible. References to Elijah appear in Sirach, the New Testament, the Mishnah and Talmud, the Quran, the Book of Mormon, the Doctrine and Covenants, and Baháʼí writings.
Hello. Thanks for “filling in the blanks” of our great tradition! May Elijah and Elisha, and all of you, please pray for us, as we pray for you! 🙏🙏🙏

Elias was Elijah student two different people father.Elias got the double portion when he saw Elijah go up in a firery chariot to heaven
Hello
Wrong. As it says in the Old Testament, "[T]here was no other prophet who arose in Israel like Moses, whom the L‑rd knew face to face.” (Deut. 34:10)
Moses is the greatest OT prophet.
The Prophet Elijah has nothing to do with the son of Mary.
Steve, your comments at the end of your videos volume is way way way!!!too loud!!!!!!it's blasting the windows out of my house!!!!!
My apologies. I’ll remember to fix the volume on it.
Emoji is silly
The day of the LORD has absolutely nothing to do with Sunday at all.
Always wondered why we are not told or asked to pray to our OT chosen ones….. 🤎🤎🤎💚
