Charlie Haden & The Liberation Music Orchestra - African National Congress Theme [1990]

[Hi-Fi Mono] The legendary bassist and his orchestra appear on this unique music program from the US, back in the late 80s & early 90s.
The orchestra perform the ANC national anthem on this occasion.
Hal Willner was the creative force behind this program, inviting many artists from across the musical spectrum to appear.

Thank you so much for posting this! My husband and I saw Charlie Haden and the Liberation Music Orchestra perform right around this time (1990) in Somerville MA at a freezing cold Somerville Theater in the aftermath of a snowstorm. It was so inspiring.
