Starry Sea is the new love of my life, i'm obsessed. Dang dang is sooo catchy and I love the chorea JJ did for it. You're absolutely write about Save Me sounding like a Moonbyul song, her fingerprints are all over that song - literally since she composed it. They even performed an acoustic version which is heavenly.
At a fan meeting on the first release day some fans mentioned that they wished the lyrics could have been "shy girl" instead of "shy boy". Solar spent the whole night in the studio recording a version with "shy girl". Of their 4 music show appearances 2 are shy boy and 2 are shy girl. Dang Dang does fit in with some of earlier Mamamoo. I'm not sorry they went with Starry Night. It is objectively a better song. Early Mamamoo they were always in 4 inch or more high heels. Solar has mostly stuck with them. During Queendom their cover of AOA's song Good Luck, Solar slipped and wrenched her back (she finishes the performance without showing any sign) and when she complains later Moonbuyl chides her for insisting on sticking with heels. They had intended an outside shoot for Save Me but it wouldn't stop raining so they had to scramble to find an indoor sight. There is an acoustic version of Save Me that is even more beautiful than this MV. Chico Malo continues to be my favorite as well.
The alice is wonderland is more than a simple reference, in dangdang, flower garde, tea party with cakes and etc. There is also a twit reference(Hwasa was one of the composers) there are other references. In the end, they actually chose to not do this song because Solar had an injured back and Starry night had an easier choreo. My korean friends also tell me the lyrics have references to a couple of common childrens songs. My favorite on this album is I like this, it is the sound I like from mamamoo the most. Save me is incredible for how much emotion it has for basically lonliness and the vocals, do look up the live acoustic version of Save Me, it is incredible to hear it live. Starry Sea, again korean friends, apparently the translation doesnt do it justice. I have seen crying during that song because the lyrics are so beautiful for both sound and meaning.
DangDang is very much "ALICE IN WONDERLAND" Vibes. "Save Me"... from what I understand was supposed to be filmed outside. But being the Rainy Season in SK, it rained on the day of the shoot. Which left them scrambling to find a location to shoot in. Considering the lyrics of the song, I think the rain and the location were "happy" accidents. That worked very well for the M/V
I've been a fan since 2018. I think Dang Dang would have fit well with their sound at the time, particularly Um Oh Ah Yeh and Yes I Am. It's also an earlier version of Waggy. Would having Hwasa sing Dang Dang change the sound? Sure. Would it still be Mamamoo? Yes.
I love how you react, I just binge-watch all of your mamamoo reactions. 🥰 I don't know how it works but please continue the 4 seasons album reaction and travel album bsides. Thank youuuu! Saranghanu fighting!!! 🥰
"OST sound" is kind of a broad term. I know that many OSTs have a slower instrumental but many are also mid-tempo or even high energy. MoonSun's Bada Boom and Super Gap are OSTs and aren't even close to the same vibe Save Me. Overall, my favorite MMM+ songs(including songs that were released before the subunit was named) are Promise U, Chico Malo, Better, and Super Gap. Out of the title tracks dangdang is my fave but I think that Better will be back on top soon.

BIG Naughty) ua-cam.com/video/eH8jn4W8Bqc/v-deo.html Fun fact: Chico Malo and LLL were co-written by them and GGBB MV was co-directed by Solar "Dang Dang" was written and composed by Solar, Moonbyul, and Hwasa.
Thank you for your review LC. Funny how two relatively long Mamamoo fans have two completely different takes on Two Rabbits. I hear tracks that are predominantly a mish mash reworking of songs not considered good enough for release previously. The songs are weak, bland and a waste of Moonbyul and Solar's vocal range and abilities. If Two Rabbits, was a debut release for a new K-Pop female duo, it would get panned. It is not a patch on Mamamoos+ first release, Please remember this is my take. I am not saying you are wrong and I am correct.

Starry Sea it's definitely my favorite, dangdang is addictive it's stuck in my head. Thanks for the reaction, it's always a pleasure😊

Hwasa had a hand in writing DangDang along with Solar and Moonbyul.
Really?
@@binkystargaming Yes! Hwasa is also credited in this track, together with Solar and Moonbyul, on the KOMCA (korea's association for song credits.) :)
@@binkystargaming she wrote the chorus

I would recommend watching the acoustic version of Save Me, it's 619x better than the studio one!

I'm in love with this album! Is perfect !
Mamamoo+ is intended to try brighter music because Mamamoo's music is not so cutesy and is more on empowering vibes.
