What pretty specimens. Wish I could get ahold of one. I've never seen a white betta in person. Look at the care they take to put the eggs into the nest. I've never seen a pair mate. Looks like she spits the eggs out and he fertilizes them on the way out before they start to fall. very cool.
they must of been breeding with each other for a long time cause the female is helping the male put the eggs up how cool is that... female eats the eggs I believe.. awesome video.. beautiful platinum bettas two thumbs up... great job
This is beautiful! its crazy how they dont mate for life but when they do come together to mate beta are amazing. working together to make sure all her eggs get to the nest!!! and look at that nest! very nice! thank you for sharing them and their moment with us!!!!
Very very beautiful pair :) It's very nice to see the female helping out too. So cute ! As for the owner of the video, nice breeding setup :) and nice capturing this special moment !
Congrats !! You are lucky. It´s quite difficult to find a couple like that. Not only because they are beautiful, it´s the first time I see the female carrying the ovules to the nest.
Wow... I had no idea there were females out there that helped the male with the nest! Holy crap awesome!... I've always removed the female in a hurry! Awesome pair! Great video!
Very good video of bettas spawning. Also nice to see you use dried leaves of tree native to Thailand. Somehow I suspect the leaves are part of your success.
I'm so impressed with the female one--when I used to breed these fish the female usually didn't do anything but sitting on the surface letting the male do the job alone. now both of them are working together.
@MusicFan566 Hi and thank you for the compliments.. as for opaque and platinums i'm not really sure.. i am a new betta fish enthusiast and breeder and i bought these guys online which were called white platinums.. the difference between them and the opaque i don't have a clue lol, they are quite similar though aren't they
The female was helping, she spit all the eggs into the nest. My female was a special line of females from thailand that helps the male when breeding. I'm assuming the breeders in thailand bred this ability into their females. I've bred this female 3x in her lifespan and she helped all 3 times.
@MrDEW06 i feed them 2 - 3 times a day.. it really depends.. everyone has their own way of feeding but i usually do 3 times a day in moderation.. they say is good to feed them frequently and in small amounts.. however don't overfeed make sure the water stays clean
Great video dude thumbs up for that I'm also a breeder I'm located in California and I might be having some fish sales online nice and great video and bettas.
very pretty...i got some bettas too...i would like to ask a question.... i have a halfmoon plakat (male) a vailtail (female) and a king (male). my question is do u think it would be a good idea to mate with any of this 2 type with the female?? the plakat is pretty aggresive so im afraid it might kill the female...
@won0312 first she is introduced in a clear vase or jar,, then they should be ready within 48 hours.. sometimes more, sometimes less.. always make sure you keep a good eye on them when you put them together
Beautiful male you've got there. I love his dumbo ears hehe. i have a pair right nw thats waiting to be bred as well : ) is that a bubble nest built under a leaf o smthg ?
awww this is so cute, look how the female goes into the zombie like moment jejeje. My male Betta does this bubbles all the time wonder if he is ready to have a companion :)!!!!!!!!!!
Sometimes make bettas make bubble nest to show the owner that they are happy and healthy I have 4 male bettas and they all make bubble nests but have never seen a female so I researched and it said they make bubble nests if they feel healthy and happy
And one question: how long will it take the male to make a nest? Its been two days and not a bubble. Idk how old they are but female has bars and I have a heater and plant and tank is 10 g
Hey what did u do wit the FRY, im also very interested in breeeding bettas but i dont know where to keep so many of them after they are born, i love bettas and i want many of them but i dont know how to keep them, plz rpl....
hey i just got a baby beta very very small how many times a day should i feed it , she seems to be hungry everytime i go to tank see wants to eat, also she is in a 5 gallon tank with filter how mauch should i be cleaning it , also there are alot of bubbles on the top are those a nest??an does this mean its a boy?? sorry for so many questions , just dont want to hurt molly i had a betta for 1 year i dont know what happen but he just died 2 weeks ago:(
Hi! I also have a Plat white male. I want to get a plat female to breed him with. Do you have any suggestions of a good breeder?? Also, did all of these pairs babies turn out white or a variety of colors?
how many days the eggs will take to hatch after the female lay them and what can i feed the babies except the brine shrimp baby because its not available thank you
usually, the male betta makes a bubble nest the first day or the first night. Your pair might not be compadible, but some fish don't build bubble nests because they are sick. If you got your male/female at a pet store, that's probably why. I would recommend trying again, by putting your fish in two jars and letting them flare every day for five minutes. When you do put them back in the tank, try using almond leaf extract, a natural spawning inducer
how long did it take for her to get pregnant? Sorry cuz i got a female just like tht but im trying to breed it with a red half moon. They have been together for about a week now. But whenever place them together the male chases the female. Pls help and the male has already built a decent sized nest.
i dont understand someone please answer! i really love fish but im so comfused wats happening? so they just layed the eggs , i think thats what the floaty things were an then they ate em? whhhhaaaat?
stephanie jakovcevic What's happening is when the female releases the eggs ( see them drop) the male will collect them with his mouth and put them into the bubble nest.:)
I hope someone answers your question I'm wondering the same thing I have one with a lot of colors but I seen a white one for $1.49 at this store and I want to buy it but not if its not gone to mate with mine. how do you know if its a boy or girl?
The boys tend to have longer fins unless they're a plakat breed but if you see a white dot under the fish(betta) it's a girl that dot is called the ovipositor which the female releases the eggs from when breeding. Hope I answered your question.
i think its so special how there helping one another. i wish human babydaddies would act the same way
The female is helping pick up the eggs, those two are really great pair.
Yeah usually the female eats em.
My betta female also help my male betta to pick eggs
What a beautiful pair. And a smart female betta too. It's good that she helped him out. This will guarantee the next generation for sure.
I've never seen a female help out like that! So cute!

What pretty specimens. Wish I could get ahold of one. I've never seen a white betta in person. Look at the care they take to put the eggs into the nest. I've never seen a pair mate. Looks like she spits the eggs out and he fertilizes them on the way out before they start to fall. very cool.

Vfhjgru

Really beautiful fish by the way :D
+Caroline Eagan Lol i get it XD
its amazing how they know exactly what to do. i've never seen bettas like these.
they must of been breeding with each other for a long time cause the female is helping the male put the eggs up how cool is that... female eats the eggs I believe.. awesome video.. beautiful platinum bettas two thumbs up... great job

This is epic. I have never seen a betta fish with a white color or any other color than blue, green, black and red.
They are exquisite. What beautiful creatures.
I'm so impressed with the female one--when I used to breed these fish the female usually didn't do anything but sitting on the surface letting the male do the job alone. now both of them are working together.
Thank you for capturing the wonderful things mother nature has to give us. THANK YOU MOTHER NATURE:-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)
Truly a thing of beauty, it would be great if all pairs did this team work!!
You have the best video i've seen so far of betta's spawning. :) & BTW Your betta's are beautiful. I had one, but sadly it died :/
Wow I've never seen a female help collect the eggs. Usually you have to take her out because she'd eat them. This is so beautiful
That is two happy bettas because they are going to have beautiful babies. : ]
Aw! They make a beautiful couple! :D
THERE SO BEAUTIFUL!!! It's like they were kissed by the sun

Thanks for posting this great video. How many of the eggs hatched?
@MrDEW06 i feed them 2 - 3 times a day.. it really depends.. everyone has their own way of feeding but i usually do 3 times a day in moderation.. they say is good to feed them frequently and in small amounts.. however don't overfeed make sure the water stays clean
very beautiful betta. i have a question how can i tell which color the babies betta came out thank you
They're beautiful! How do you condition them before? And do you put the male and female in the tank straight away together? Thank you :)
well, like how do you know that like a white female betta is ready?? and what do you recommend feeding them for conditioning?
thank you so so much!
Great video dude thumbs up for that I'm also a breeder I'm located in California and I might be having some fish sales online nice and great video and bettas.
Wow I never had that many eggs come out at once before, (when they first wrapped at the beginning of the video) congratz thats impressive!
The first time I bred my betta fish, the female did not help at all. The second time she did. It was soooo cute! ;)
Now that's a bubble nest! Awesome video!
This is adorable and amazing :) I have 5 beautiful male bettas, I would love to breed them if there weren't so many fry to take care of
Yes.. They are adorable! I was wondering is the whole heater put under water or? cause I have put only the half of it under water..

Facinating! Well done, Thankyou! Thumbs up! How did the fry do? What did you feed?
For a moment I thought they were dead. Beautiful fish by the way :)
you sir are absolutely correct, this was their "first time" too
how long did it take your male to start building a bubble nest after being introduced?
need a answer ASAP
hypothetically if the babies were immediately removed after they were done dancing would the Fri be able to develop at the bottom of the tank?
@won0312 first she is introduced in a clear vase or jar,, then they should be ready within 48 hours.. sometimes more, sometimes less.. always make sure you keep a good eye on them when you put them together
your bettas are really nice looking! I have one that looks just like that!
Beautiful fish and a fine demonstration of their spawning.
I thought only the males tended the eggs.

i so love betta fish ! it's beautiful fish.
how can you tell if you female betta is ready to let go in the tank if the betta is a light color and you cant see the vertical barring?
were u able to see the vertical stripes on the female betta?
Beautiful male you've got there. I love his dumbo ears hehe. i have a pair right nw thats waiting to be bred as well : ) is that a bubble nest built under a leaf o smthg ?
awww this is so cute, look how the female goes into the zombie like moment jejeje. My male Betta does this bubbles all the time wonder if he is ready to have a companion :)!!!!!!!!!!

Did u have a video on the babies?
And one question: how long will it take the male to make a nest? Its been two days and not a bubble. Idk how old they are but female has bars and I have a heater and plant and tank is 10 g
Is it normal for the male betta fishes bubble nests to fly away? I swear I did not put helium on them
would it help if the water was lower
how did ur betta fry come out were they exactly like there parents or are they a different color variety
How long dodes it take for the female to be ready to spawn from when you first introduce them. 1month??
I feed them rozen blood worm but i let it melt first. Wait so how long did it take for the female to get pregnant?

Hi! I also have a Plat white male. I want to get a plat female to breed him with. Do you have any suggestions of a good breeder?? Also, did all of these pairs babies turn out white or a variety of colors?

they don't eat them they put it in their mouth to put in the bubble nest
did u also get ur two bettas from a petstore or u ordered them online

Do the mom n dad betta stay in the tank or u must remove n seperate them fast?
yes they would be separated cause if you don't they'll end up fighting and and eat their babies.
how long did it take for her to get pregnant? Sorry cuz i got a female just like tht but im trying to breed it with a red half moon. They have been together for about a week now. They aren't eating them, they scoop them up and put them in bubbles in the nest under the almond leaf.
stephanie jakovcevic What's happening is when the female releases the eggs ( see them drop) the male will collect them with his mouth and put them into the bubble nest.:)
I have a question how mang hours do they need to be together? Cause im really afriad that my fem betta might get killed😰
Nice video and pairing. I have a question putting a male and female betta that are the same colours will they be interested in each other?
I hope someone answers your question I'm wondering the same thing I have one with a lot of colors but I seen a white one for $1.49 at this store and I want to buy it but not if its not gone to mate with mine. how do you know if its a boy or girl?

yeah you did & thanks
A betta doesn't care what color their mate is. People breed bettas of the same color to keep that color in the offspring.
how would you carry anything if you didnt have hands
