  • This was our first camping trip of the 2022 season. We are camped high up in the Sierra Nevada mountains in California (USA). It is a Boondocking site we call Devil's Fork. We named it Devil's Fork because at one time there was a large tree that had dead branches at the very top that looked like a Devil's Trident. I'm camping with my oldest son Mark. This video shows some of the devastation caused by a storm two years ago.

Thanks for sharing the camp. From your vid, It reminded me of camping with my Father, and Brothers. We hunted, ate great meals, laughed, and were at piece with our world. Father, and 6 older Brothers are passed, dang I miss em. Brought a tear to these old eyes, once again Brother, Thanks for the memories. Keep em coming. Bless you and yours. Bless our popup Family.

I know what you mean about missing those who have passed. At 76 I am the oldest family member on both sides of the family. All others are gone. I have one younger sister, and had one even younger sister. My youngest sister passed away suddenly while I was on my very first camping trip with this popup. I got the text message and had to pack back up and drive home in disbelief. I have 3 sons and 1 daughter. My oldest son (in the video) and my youngest son are camping fools. They go camping every chance they get. Thank you for viewing.
