Faith really is a gift from God. The older I get the more faith I have and the less evidence I needed outside of the Bible. When you really study the Bible it becomes increasingly clear how the Bible itself is all the evidence we need. I never would have believed that until I studied it in more and more depth.

Well researched and very true. Just an FYI Bart Ehrman says He’s read every Greek and Roman text and he’s convinced Jesus was eaten by dogs. However he’s clearly never read Josephus. There’s an obscure passage in the Jewish wars that specifically says Jews removed all those that were crucified at the cross before sunset of that day. The Jews had many exceptions to Roman rules which just goes to show you can’t always believe these Atheist biblical experts.

Hi, I loved the video, but as a Christian who debates atheists a lot, a lot of them bring up Paul , how he saw Jesus in a dream and because of that, that's how we get the gospels,and that his fixation on hating the Christians would be a logical way for him to react (have the "dream" as they argue). I just want to prove to them, that Jesus was real and was in fact a historical person.
I debate atheists from time to time so I can relate. All you can do is present the evidence in its different forms ( J. Warner Wallace is a good source) but after that if they want to hear and ignore the evidence. Then all you can do really is to tell the have a good day and move on to some one else who actually might want to hear the Good News of the Gospel. Read Greg Koukl’ Book “ Tactics” excellent book. Interesting but I really didn’t hear anything that was outside the gospel as he first said. That doesn’t change my FAITH in YASHUA and the Biblical account of the Resurrection and acencion up to Our FATHER in Heaven. We are born with nothing and we cannot take it with us, treasures on earth 🌍 !! Logic says we are here for something much greater than 80 to 100 years if we are blessed as the war between good and evil is raging all the time!!! we are created a seed from the father that is then given unto the woman (conception), we then within the waters of the womb come forth into a physical world (birth).We emerge from the waters of the womb, as earth came forth from the waters (physical dry land, physical child, Spiritual Christ. We then live a physical life and go threw stages of grown (hopefully and with God, a changing of a creature from physical to spiritual minded ness (death to self). walking and talking with God in spirit, to then be brought into relationship a child of God (this is my son in whom i am well pleased). To die and rise again in spiritual life (7th day rest) into his rest (resurrection).
Without God death (sixth day, cast out of the garden, spiritual death) is our final outcome in sin. Our History, our own life cycle, and creation itself follow the Gospel, or 7 days that lead to Christ (cycle of life unto life threw Jesus Christ). or death on the 6. three ways 777 or three ways 666. Everything paints a picture of Christ. The bible paints this also through creation, the physical stories within the creation, and the bible as a whole (400 years of silence is the 6th leading to the seventh in the gospels with Christ). Christ is found in all things. So yes, Christ is indeed seen. If you have the eyes to see it. Hope this shines some light (seed of day 1) on the Gospel being creation itself, and we likewise are made "IN THAT IMAGE".. the image of God is what holds ALL things together... without God nothing is created, without God nothing will ever be. He is the beginning God and will be here in the End God. Rather you join in this, with him or without, He is what was, what is, and what will be in the end. so your either with Him and In Him Good. or without Him Only the knowledge of what Evil is. Forever in Love and with Power, or forever in Torment without power, only the Knowlege of Evil, Never knowing Good, Forever without it. Put your faith in God, Because when God removes what is Good from the earth, Sin has nothing left destroy but itself. and with it the power of Evil. your mind forever in torment and pain, with no time or Love to take it away. in outer darkness, the memory of what evil was to those whom are Good. with Now the Understanding of the FULLNESS of who God/Love/Good really is. (All Knowing).

There is plenty of evidence for Jesus, but the evidence in the Bible is sufficient enough. It's shocking the amount of evidence they were able to compile from so many sources and put within a single cover. There is no other collection of historical documents as extensive and thorough.

A true believer doesn't need "Evidence", because Paul defines what real faith is in Hebrews 11, 1: "But faith is the surety of things hoped for, and the not doubting of things not seen."
Abraham Lincoln did not walk on water. If he would have, you would have the same valid skepticism about him as others have about Jesus. Because once someone claims to violate the laws of nature, you need faith. Not evidence.
If reality came to be by a coincidence, everything is random. Why doesn't it just end? Why doesn't it all stop existing or get sucked into a vacuum.
You have faith to believe a randomly generated complex reality functions in a way that cares about its own existence. What keeps it from breaking? Why?

To believe the walking on water event did not happen=means the Apostles lied. Have you not had unexplainable events happen in your life?
Your reasoning is faulty since the definition of a miracle is an event that can not be explained using natural methods.
What you'd have to argue is that miracles don't happen.

This was an interesting presentation, and I applaud your work. However, providing this alleged so-called "evidence" on Jesus, from extra-Biblical sources, may help to prove, to some degree, that Jesus was a person that existed. Unfortunately though, I do not seeing this alleged so-called evidence to anything to help prove the Biblical claims that He is the alleged & so-called 'Son of God'.

Jesus' Birth on earth was foreseen hundreds of years prior, in the Books of the Old Testament; His Sacrifice Carefully laid out in Isaiah. He was Seen Resurrected, written about in the Gospels by people who had *no* benefits in Preaching Christianity for the first time.

Like many deniers, you fail to comprehend the mechanisms by which Christian doctrines and beliefs are established.
Granted, you're perfectly within your right to reject Christian doctrines, but do not make the mistake that Christians do not have more than reasonable and sufficient reasons supporting Christian beliefs and doctrines.

That's not ehat this video segment was for, to prove He is t he son of God. This video was to share non biblical sources that talked about Jesus and hiw thise sources corroborated what is found in the Bible. HOEVER if you want the evidential facts around that He is God keep digging into the cold case Christianity website because Jim has done that research also. It's there if you make time to read thru it.
To be fair. He did say that these outside sources would at least verify the existence of Jesus. Not of his divinity

Tons of evidence... the first pic of jesus ever recorded was of a romam soldier making fun of him on the cross. Dated 1ad drew a pic of jesus the nazarene with the head of donkey hangin on the cross.. lots of stuff like this..
