DEFINED BRAIDOUT ON RELAXED HAIR

  • Hey loves! In this video I demonstrate how I do my super defined braid outs while stretching my relaxer. In this video I'm 11/12 weeks post relaxer. Braidouts are my favourite low manipulation style to do while stretching and they are super easy to do! I'll typically do my braidouts on air dried hair after my mid week wash day routine i.e. Thursday. I'll rock my braid out until the next wash day i.e. Sunday.
    To preserve my style for 3-4 days, I do the "Pineapple Method" where I gather my hair into a high ponytail, instead I do a secure top bun and wrap my hairline with my satin scarf. I also moisturize daily but using a tiny amount of my Leave-in Hair Milk and I'll scrunch the product into my hair/ends, fluff and go!
    COMMENT BELOW if you are a fan of Braidouts too!

      YES WE ARE!!!!! 🤣 I only get a relaxer 3x a year now. I always tell people Im WOKE AF, IM PRO BLACK AF, BUT LIVING IN LOUISIANA HUMID WEATHER trying to maintain a natural is a problem I dont need. Yet, it is always the chicks with the natural hair that is hidden under their weaves, wigs, and extentions , that question me about having a relaxer. 🤣🤣🤣

    I discovered braidouts about 3 years ago and was re-born! LOL. I just love your video - folks, it really is that easy. Just follow the over-night, pineapple instructions and it will last at least 3 days. If I do it on freshly washed, air dried hair - I can make it last for 4! Curls without heat is the way to go.

    Hello there, thanks for always posting such great content. You're my go to for anything hair related. I have a brazillian brlowout on my hair as i'm transitioning and it makes my new growth easier to manage. Although I try not to use parabens and sulphates in my hair, my BBD means that can't. Is the Creme of Nature Mousse that you use in your video sulfate free? I've been inspired to give braid outs another go using your process. Thanks x

    How you keep it from being frizzy, after one day hair looks fuzzy

    • @HairliciousInc
      @HairliciousInc  3 роки тому +1

      Sometimes mine gets a little frizzy, I don’t mind it. Too, it may be the way you slept on it. You can also try using a little bit of serum over your hair (prior to braiding) to prevent the frizz.

      Thanks so much. I suggest a hair lotion, butter cream or moisturizer is perfectly fine.

    I’m a fan of braid outs. But they never turn out right for me. 🤷🏾‍♀️

      Oh really?!! There is a trial and error period but it’s all about technique.
