Great review, nice airplane as well. I definitely agree that the color changes depending on the light. In real life when I took that photo the light was poor and the colors looked quite dark. However when you see the airplane in sunny conditions it looked a lot more vibrant. It could be that that applies to the model as well. My first thought was that the model was too dark, but honestly I’m not sure. Anyways keep up the good work!

Well, the overall aircraft is not bad at all, I love this Etihad green livery. The colour itself is close but not the same to that of the real aircraft but it's acceptable to me. The detailing is pretty much the same of the other 787s. The new design of the box... Seems to be an advertisment... I don't like the social logos on the back of the box at all, bad job. However the model itself is good but the quality to price ratio of the herpa models is not totally satisfying, taking into account that these models cost around 30€..
Nice model and review. I've pre ordered another plane that is expected 29th October but I heard Herpa never release their models on time and have heaps of delays, is that true?

Think the colour is pretty spot on , remembering when the real aircraft would have been delivered the colour would have been a bit more stronger .
I agree, that more I look at it the more I come to the conclusion that Herpa is spot on or at least very close with the colour 👍

Totally agree, I think many feel like you about the livery but I also think Herpa has done well with replicating the livery on their model
